You see, as an incurably hopeless, wish-upon-a-star daydreamer, when my first baby boy came into my life, I swiftly realised that being the parent you thought you would be, and creating family memories to treasure in the way you imagined before your baby was born [and keeping you awake all night] is a real challenge. The information provided here is as complete and accurate as possible; however, product names, colours and/or materials are subject to change without notice. For example, if a child wants to play with cars but can't yet reach them without climbing up on furniture or standing on boxes, then consider purchasing an attachment that allows them to play with cars without having to stand up or climb up things.

The boys’ futuristic version of my “Olden Days” [thank you, boys] toy is the super fancy Casdon Self Service Supermarket and it arrived this week in a very big box. My 3 yr old grandson loved it, it’s great to play with, think it’s more suitable for a slightly older child though, he doesn’t take enough care with the little cardboard boxes, he squashes them and screws up the paper money! Timeshares are a great alternative if traveling in locations you enjoy, like staying at a Disney timeshare or more notionally a Wyndham Resort. Overall it is a really engaging and educational toy as children love being able to do what they see grown ups doing. The little details – the receipt in the payment area, the card machine – it’s all of the things that as little ones they see us use and so want to join in with.It is aimed at children aged 3-8 years but we will be giving this to our then 2 year old, as I’m sure she will love playing this with supervision (there is some plastic money we will not give her to play alone with). Word of advice to any parent, do this before you show it to your children otherwise you face thirty minutes of children hovering/grabbing/whining whilst incessantly moaning, “Is it done yet? Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. When I was asked to review the Casdon Self Service Supermarket, I knew she would be thrilled to help!

Disclaimer: We were sent the Yoto Player 3rd Generation to review free of charge, but words and pictures are mine. The weather really held out for Easter except for a few days this year – and the boys were really glad because they got a chance to try out the new Gazillion Bubbles machines! If you're looking for learning toys that will help your child learn a specific skill then it's important to make sure that the toy is age appropriate.View All Posts Tagged: baby direct, casdon, casdon self service supermarket, casdon self service supermarket till, casdon till, hello baby, hello baby direct, hello baby direct toys, hellobabydirect. The card machine on the side of the scanner also beeps when the numbers are pushed and coins put in can be given back as change when the button is pressed too.

Equipped with a 'touch-sensitive' screen and working calculator, purchases will zoom through the checkout like never before!Strictly Necessary Cookie should be enabled at all times so that we can save your preferences for cookie settings. We received a meal and a bottle of wine in at The Mutton at Hazeley Heath in exchange for this review. Included in the box are play money in notes and coins, plastic foods and little cardboard product boxes which were easy to assemble with no glue needed. Syd loves putting cash into the self service checkout, then pressing the button to make her “change” drop out. The shelves are full of a wide range of branded products some of which will be familiar to the children which helps them select the items they wish to purchase.

I honestly think that this is one of the best toys we have had for the children and I am certain it will be played with, every single day, for years to come. Casdon Self-Service Supermarket is an electronic till which has been designed to replicate todays self-contained, self-service checkouts! Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however all thoughts and opinions remain our own. The food boxes are made from cardboard so add an extra element of durability you might want to cover in tape or stick back plastic. This Self-Service Supermarket goes above and beyond all expectations, delivering a top-class supermarket experience without having to wait to get served!Standing 75 cm tall, this highly detailed role-play toy includes a selection of popular branded toy food packets such as Andrex, Birds Eye, Tetley, Hovis and Mr Kipling. However as a parent you could remove the coins for little ones and it wouldn’t spoil the enjoyment of the product. When choosing toys for children it's also important not only what we want them to learn, but also how we want them to learn it.
