Description

The Note Air 2 has a new film over the screen that gives it a more paper-like feel than the original model. Gli appunti si possono facilmente esportare grazie ad un servizio di Cloud della stessa Boox (occorre registrarsi) oppure utilizzando DropBox. The Note Air also lacks the Max Lumi's fingerprint scanner, but you can put in a password or passcode to lock the tablet if you like. As well as offering protection, the case can also be used to prop up the e-reader, which proved rather handy for reading on the train.

Kindle, Kobo, Libby, Marvel Unlimited, Nook, The New York Times, and web pages all look great on the screen.Sure, you can read books on it – in any one of 17 different file formats, no less – and even via the Kindle app. For starters, there’s its paper-like screen, which has just enough friction for it to really feel like paper when used with the included Wacom stylus.

So if you’re a self-proclaimed geek and want a gadget that really lets you flex, the Note Air 2 Plus is it. The pen body is textured with striated grooves that run from end to end, giving it a decent amount of grip. The storage/files app shows the most commonly used folders of the home directory; Documents, Images, Download, Bluetooth, Music, Videos, APK and Font. Heavier use as a work aid with liberal screen light active time, and with the power-down time extended, and you’re looking at nearer a week. There’s some heft to the device, the Note Air 2 Plus weighing in at 445g, although I found it comfortably to hold in one hand.

You will also have to ship the product at your own expense to their warehouses in either the US, Hong Kong, or Germany.

This is in part owing to its matte textured screen, and in part owing to E Ink scribbles looking more like they were created with a real pen and paper. For battery life, the Note Air 2 Plus was super-reliable, lasting around a week before needing a charge. While E Ink displays are made to look like paper, something the anti-glare screen on the Note Air 2 achieves, this device is also made to feel like paper. As well as black, white, and three shades of grey, there is also a palette of additional colours, including red, green, and blue – these additional colours are not discernable on the NA2+’s monochrome screen but can be seen when the notebook is exported and viewed on a colour screen. Onyx also gives you plenty of screen refresh modes to choose from, so you can customise each app to display just the way you want it to. In use I suffered very few glitches or stutters – there were no issues moving around in apps or loading my books –which certainly made the experience of using the Note Air 2 Plus feel more premium.

This pen-screen experience bests the stark, glassy Apple Pencil-like slickness that takes some getting used to on most tablets. You also can connect earphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type C connector.but I noticed minor scratches thankfully on the side strip (not over the screen itself) probably because of keys / jewelry (no sure). The Note Air 2 Plus also features a 3700mAh battery versus the 3000mAh battery in the standard Note Air 2.
