Formulated with key ingredients for skin health, Hydromol Ointment is a soft ointment which moisturises the skin. A 3 in 1 all-purpose emollient, bath additive and soap substitute, it contains no fragrances, colourings, additives or preservatives and is suitable for all ages. Liquid paraffin, isopropyl myristate, cetomacrogol emulsifying wax, myristyl myristate, sodium pyrrolidone carboxylate, ceteareth-20, phenoxyethanol, parabens (methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, iso-butylparaben and n-butylparaben), sodium lactate solution and purified water. Your skin feels dry, itchy and scaly when the outer layer of skin cells, known as the stratum corneum, loses too much water. The stratum corneum normally contains natural water-holding substances that retain water seeping up from the deeper layers of the skin. Water is also usually kept in the skin by a film of natural oil (sebum) and broken-down skin cells that slow down evaporation of water from the skin surface. GREEN Epimax® ExCetra cream 100g, 500g [previously ExCetra® Cream] [equivalent to Cetraben ® cream] Hydromol Ointment is for general use as an emollient to moisturise and soften dry skin. It may be used instead of soap.
