I am basing this review from my experience with several pair of True Wireless In-Ear headphones. Overall, this is a high-quality product for a reasonable price, produces great sounds even if the ear buds are slightly more bulky than the competition with a charging case that is slightly larger than others too. If you’ve already installed the JBL Headphone app, as shown above, all you would need to do is open the app, select your earbuds, and both earbud’s current battery status should be displayed underneath the earbud’s image.

Four LED indicators of different colors, the edge of the motherboard is edged by vias to prevent interference. The JBL Live Free 2 Bluetooth Earbuds are also equipped with LEDs to indicate charging and connection status.This is how the connection process works, once you pair your earbuds to a device, that device is then saved into your earbud’s pairing history memory, allowing them to be paired to that device automatically at times. Included are 3 ear tip sizes, and 2 gel sizes, short charging cable, charging case and of course the earbuds. Please note this is the JBL FREE X headphones - apparently this newer generation (2) has fixed a bluetooth connectivity problem. Thus far, I have not experienced any bluetooth problems! There are multiple ways in which a connection can end up becoming interrupted or result in an unsuccessful pairing. And one of those reasons stems from a previously connected device.

Overall these JBL earbuds are great at what they do and that is play music or videos, and phone calls. All in all these are a good buy if you want something reliable and easy to use. There is a lot to like and very little to dislike. BOTTOM LINE: Although I wish these had more features and usability, they really are a great pair of earbuds. They are easy to use while sitting at work or running around outside and that’s exactly what you want from something like this. If you are in the market for a pair of True Wireless Earbuds to use across multiple devices for multiple purposes you will mainly love these!This may sound like an ineffective solution but trust us you wouldn’t want to skip out on this step. This solved the issue in the majority of cases. The sound on the Free 2 is really good for this value, too. I didn’t tweak the EQ settings (which can be found in the accompanying JBL application), but even out of the box I was impressed with how balanced everything sounded. There are better-sounding earbuds on the market, but they’re not as price-friendly as the Free 2. The house-inspired style of Drake’s new album sounded alive and kinetic. The drums on Soccer Mommy’s “shotgun” rattled and hummed. Even slower songs like The Rolling Stones’“Moonlight Mile” played well. The earbuds are more than suited to the task of playing all of your favorite music. Many functions are supported with even more control if the JBL app is installed. I didn’t need the additional capabilities so I chose not to install the app.
