However, it’s remarkably easy to use, and the minimal work you do have to put into it still makes chopping vegetables far easier than using a knife. One second, you’re happily chopping away, and the next you’re trying to blink through the tears forming in your eyes. While we did find it much easier to chop the carrots using the OXO vegetable chopper in comparison to a knife, we did have to press quite hard down on the lid, and think that if the carrots we used were much bigger it would have been difficult to chop.

Suffering from arthritis I find that some vegetable slicing is required but I could then lean on the chopper for small regular pieces to drop into the chamber below, ready to empty into pots.
