Description

GMO stands for genetically modified organism. If something has been genetically modified it means it has had its DNA altered using genetic engineering. Watermelon – Ever wanted to fit a whole Watermelon in your mouth? Now you can, with our Watermelon flavour jelly bean! GMO crops can be mass-produced and done in a way that yields bigger crops in larger amounts. Sadly this means that small independent farmers and businesses can not keep up and are losing vital business to big companies. Sour Lemon – We can’t all be neat and sweet, some of our jelly bean flavours are a little bitter like our Sour Lemon flavour jelly bean. in 1988 Father and son Peter and Richard Cullen founded The Jelly Bean Factory and the world of jelly beans has never been the same. The Jelly Bean Factory is dedicated to created amazing mouth watering jelly beans with unique delicious flavours. The jelly bean factory was acquired by Cloetta in 2014 and we’ve been unstoppable ever since.

The term ‘natural’ for the description of flavouring may only be used if the flavouring component is entirely of natural origin. Artificial flavours are flavours that are not found in nature and are produced by chemical synthesis. Where does the ‘jelly-like’ texture come from in The Jelly Bean Factory® if there is no gelatine? HUGE Flavours became the descriptor for our signature 36 flavour mix as part of our 2019 brand redesign. All products produced in The Jelly Bean Factory® are free from all 14 EU Allergens (gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, celery, mustard, eggs, milk, sesame, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, soya, sulphites and lupin). Is The Jelly Bean Factory® nut-free? Butterscotch – Ah Butterscotch, the best sauce, the best sweets and maybe even the best jelly bean flavour? Cranberry and Apple – We like Cranberry, we like Apple, but not as much as Cranberry likes Apple and Apple likes Cranberry. These two flavours work so well together we just couldn’t separate them and so the Cranberry and Apple jelly bean flavour is full of double the amazing taste.FAIRFIELD, CALIF., June 20, 2022 – The Jelly Belly Factory Tour just got a little sweeter with the addition of the Jelly Belly Museum. Blueberry – The humble blueberry flavoured jelly bean is just filled with a mellow sweet flavour that makes him everyone’s favourite little blue bean. Several vehicles and installations from Mr. Rowland’s private collection are on display in the museum and represent key moments in the company’s history. Guests will see a 1934 Ford V8 Touring Sedan, a 1935 Chris-Craft boat and a 1982 Maserati Quattroporte.

Caramel Popcorn – With the Caramel Popcorn flavour jelly bean we can finally have the irresistible flavour of Caramel Popcorn without all those pesky corn kernels getting in the way. What started as a family start up is now a leading manufacturer of gourmet jelly beans and we have been passionate about making great sweets for over twenty years. There are lots of reasons why food may be genetically engineered. Often it is used to make crops bigger or more durable in certain climates. It’s a very apt descriptor for The Jelly Bean Factory® is a premium sugar confectionery brand, with a unique variety of flavours, and which takes 2 weeks to produce, due to the specialist production process.

Cold Stone

We make sure that all of our amazing 36 huge flavours are created by using some of the best all natural flavourings, which we get by working with some of Europe’s biggest flavour houses. The same can be said for all of our amazing, bright, vibrant colours that make our jars of jelly beans look like they are exploding with colour. Pink Grapefruit – Ok so we know the jelly bean itself isn’t pink on the outside, but on the inside, this jelly bean is just full of juicy Pink Grapefruit flavour.

We are excited to share all of our amazing all natural huge flavours and bright vibrant coloured beans. We love creating new and exiting flavours that we just know you will enjoy. Try our unique mouth-watering delicious flavours and see which ones are your favourites! Good question! Gourmet is often used to refer to high-end food, which is premium in quality, unique in flavour and requires special preparation. Banana Split – A Banana Split is a gooey sloppy mess, a Banana Split flavour jelly bean on the other hand is a whole dessert in one neat little bean. Bubblegum – We all love Bubblegum until it loses its flavour and you have to spit it out. Now you can have the delicious flavour of Bubblegum in a delicious Bubblegum flavoured jelly bean! Did you know fruit is one of the few things on this planet that wants to be eaten? Over the years it has evolved to make itself irresistible to us. It has vibrant, eye-catching colours and is overflowing with juicy, sweet flavour in every bite. The jelly bean is believed to have invented by William Schrafft a sweet maker from Boston. He had the idea to mould jelly into small round shapes, or beans, hence the name jelly beans. He encouraged people to send them as gift to solders that were away from home fighting in a war. No wonder jelly beans make the perfect present! They were invented to be a great gift right from the start! French Vanilla – The French Vanilla latte is a vice for many of us. Full of caffeine and always overpriced, we are in desperate need of an alternative. So, we at The Jelly Bean Factory are proud to present the French Vanilla flavour jelly bean! The museum experience begins with a short ride in a Jelly Belly Express passenger train (weather permitting) from the Jelly Belly Visitor Center to the museum entrance. With decorative jelly beans hanging from the ceiling, this museum presents the evolution of candy-making equipment and the growth of the family-owned Jelly Belly Candy Company through a whimsical and interactive experience. Guests will get to view over a century’s worth of candy-making equipment that is brought to life through videos accessed via QR code and narrated by Herm Rowland, Chairman of the Board at Jelly Belly Candy Company. Pomegranate – Finally the delicious great flavour of Pomegranate without all the fuss and faff of you know… Pomegranate. Strawberry Smoothie – Do you crave the sweet creamy taste of Strawberry Smoothie but your lactose intolerance is getting in the way? The Strawberry Smoothie flavour jelly bean is completely lactose-free and still has that delicious mouthwatering taste!

A more fun and intriguing descriptor, it highlights that although The Jelly Bean Factory® jelly beans are smaller in size than regular jelly beans, they are much more intense in flavour. ‘Huge’ is a play on words which conveys that the jelly beans may be small in size but they are big in flavour. ‘How big are the flavours?’ ‘Huge!’ Does the Jelly Bean Factory use Fairtrade ingredients? Over history the sweet evolved and grew into something bigger. It evolved from bitter drinks mixed with sugar to real drinking chocolate like the hot chocolate we know today. Sweets and candies were once only available to very rich but over time the mass production sugar meant that everyone could enjoy a sweet treat every now and then. Cola– Can you imagine the great taste of Cola without all the harmful sugars and chemicals? No? That’s ok, we did it for you and now we have the Cola flavour jelly bean. We are happy to say that The Jelly Bean Factory® products are indeed lactose-free. Does The Jelly Bean Factory® contain any allergens? The Jelly Bean Factory® only uses a glucose syrup which has been specially processed to remove gluten, to ensure it’s 100% gluten-free.That’s why fruit has been such an inspiration for our jelly bean flavours. We love the explosion of tangy, zesty, sweet flavours and have done our best to recreate that moment in every mouthful of our gourmet jelly beans. Strawberry – Our strawberry flavour jelly bean is perfect for any occasion! Weddings, birthdays, Wimbledon, Strawberry is there. Mint Sorbet – A Mint Sorbet that doesn’t hurt your teeth when you bite into it, how?! Mint Sorbet flavoured jelly beans that’s how! As per its ingredients list, The Jelly Bean Factory® is made with natural flavours. We work closely with leading European Flavour Houses to ensure that the natural flavours selected for use in The Jelly Bean Factory® products are not only of high calibre, but can provide the optimal flavour profile we all know and love in conjunction with the consistency and texture of The Jelly Bean Factory® beans for the ultimate gourmet experience. What’s the difference between natural flavours and artificial ones? Jelly beans became popular in the 1930s when they become synonymous with easter. Jelly beans remain a popular easter candy and a lot of people chose to eat jelly beans at easter because of there egg like shape.
