Description

Dedicated Creme Egg fans will remember its countline spin-off Twisted, which launched to much fanfare in 2008, only to be withdrawn by Cadbury in 2012 following sales declines.

This is a step forward for Cadbury, not because of what’s in it, but because of how the bar is branded. In May 2008, an advertisement screened on ITV and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, featured in various ways a creme egg being melted while still in its wrapper (there were various versions of the commercial), only to mutate into a Twisted while yelling "Goo! We will make sure they are packed carefully for safe transit – Unfortunately broken or melted eggs cannot be replaced or refunded. Dom – i see what you mean but that still dosent change the fact that its really nothing new…as I said if this wasnt the only innovation we could expect from Cadbury this year I wouldnt be as disappointed. While I do love my chocolate from time to time, that chocolate egg is just a little too realistic looking. I think flies would even turn their nose up at this thing, which looked like rotten infested seaweed. Bite into a deliciously thick Cadbury milk chocolate egg and savour its gooey, indulgent white-and-yolk fondant centre. MILK, sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, glucose syrup, glucose-fructose syrup, whey powder (from MILK), vegetable fats (palm, shea), humectant (glycerol), emulsifier (E442), colour (paprika extract), flavourings.

Even though this bar is probably not going to be widely available – if at all – in the US this Easter season, I can’t resist mentioning it just because of the tradition of creme eggs around the holiday.

So, more than a decade after Twisted’s exit, is Creme Egg’s latest chocolate bar better positioned for success? Even if the sugary fondant center is a bit too much to handle all at once, the creamy milk chocolate and the gooey filling is a delicious combination.

Easter Egg Manufacturers have cut down on packaging in a bid to become greener and use packaging that is easier to recycle. All foods are fine within the context of a balanced diet, but this is a good way to get more volume of food for your calories!A similar, limited-edition 180g Dairy Milk bar filled with Creme Egg fondant hit the Australasian market in 2019, but didn’t reach UK supermarkets. It’s nice that you can break the bar into a few sections as you eat, so that you don’t really have to consume the whole thing in one shot, unlike a creme egg.

Spend majority of leisure time doing activities such as watching TV, playing computer games, on the internet, reading, cooking, driving, general household chores. Two years ago, they came out with “ Cadbury Dairy Milk with Creme Egg“, which was nice, but the name didn’t exactly roll off the tongue quite as easily as a Creme Egg would.when I opened the tin it was like opening something from a horror film, discovering the mouldy body of an ancient alien creature or other such evil. seems to be that despite it still retaining the great creme egg taste its a little disappointing considering this is what Cadbury’s deem as their ‘most exciting innovation of the year’…. Inside, that leaves quite a bit of room for that yummy, sickly, sticky, icky Creme Egg fondant filling.
