While no minifigures are included with the set, any minifigures you already own can fit inside the tuk-tuk, and there is room inside for one driver and two passengers.

All the people in the videos and comment section made it clear that 40469 was most definitely NOT minifigure scale. With or without figures the model looks pretty nice and is a good representation of this famous vehicle.

The front view shows many of the colours but doesn't look like a hodgepodge, showing the care the designer took in parts usage and colour blocking.The blend of yellows, pinks, greens and blues, along with the orange and red studs lining the roof, results in an eye-catching build.

The build is very solid (except maybe for the side mirrors) and a very good play model for younger builders. The colour pallete used for the model is fittingly colourful and gives the whole model a positive vibe. There are some relatively new pieces included in this set, including the 2x4 angled plates in dark azur. With the addition of three extra parts, 42117 can feel at home in any LEGO city or airport display among the other system aircraft you might have.
