It is elegant and inoffensive, the kind of fragrance I imagine Anne Shirley or Elizabeth Bennet would have reached for. Philosophy Amazing Grace Ballet Rose is almost completely opposite to Nude Rose in the sort of feelings it provides; it’s fresh, bright and peppy, making me feel energised and wanting to get stuff done. Therefore I’m always excited to try a new Philosophy fragrance and I was particularly keen to get my hands on the two newest members of the family; Pure Grace Nude Rose and Amazing Grace Ballet Rose.

It will give your make-up a natural glow, facilitate its application, extend the durability and will not burden the skin.As with most Philosophy scents that I have experienced, the final result is a clean, crisp, “fresh from the shower” aura that is perfect for those who shy away from strong, bombastic perfume or want a nice daytime or office fragrance.

This is something a princess would wear walking around her castle wearing her cream coloured silk dressing gown. But as with all philosophy frags I've tried it's quite fleeting and disappears after 2 hours so I wouldn't spend much on a bottle. The EDP doesn't last long enough for my preference, and I find myself reapplying and over spraying to get a little more impact out of it. unfortunately, it doesn't last more than 3 hours on my skin and 5 hours on clothing so it's a like, not a love.
