The book was an easy read, the storyline was just a little young for me. I would recommend this book to a young girl between 11 and 13 years old. The conversations being held and the overall plot wasn’t anything necessarily new or reinvented. I usually absolutely love Jane Fallon books but this one fell a little bit short for me. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it was but it really just felt like something was missing.

As I described above, the plot line and outlook of the story seemed interesting and unique; however, upon reading the story I was not only disappointed, but left wanting way more than the book actually had. A deliciously compelling story of romance and revenge. Just Got Real is intelligent, funny, and sharply observed. Be prepared to read in one sitting!
