And I’m sorry to say that I don’t like any of the notes of this perfume even top, middle or base all of them made me headache.

It morphs into something that faintly resembles CdNI, but one spray from my old bottle stays true till the end, some 24 hours later, or until I shower. If regular Club de Nuit is for the put-together, classy, professional and/or confident woman, Club de Nuit Intense is for her equally put-together, gothy, raven-haired sister. It's an example of why I prefer Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle Intense over the Original Coco Mademoiselle. With two sprays, the scent had inoffensive sillage, and lasted about five hours from the top to base before fading away. It also fills a hole in my collection, which is remarkably light on citrus-forward freshie "clean girl" scents. But I have to admit it's an easy scent to wear, especially if you just want to smell nice like everyone else. So far I have just done a quick back-of-the-hand test, but my initial impressions of Club de Nuit by Armaf are very positive, so I'm marking this a love for now, based on the opening, first part of the drydown, and overall value relative to cost.But now, after almost 2 hrs i have to say the new version is much more detectable, it's still a tart, prominent rose. I don’t know if my nose got used to it, I now feel a softness in the dry down that I didn’t understand or notice before. A little bit of vanilla comes up late in the dry down but it retains an almost green or herbal quality, I think from the combination with patchouli and the herbal note in the geranium. On my left wrist, all I smell is rose still but on my right wrist, the rose finally subsided and it smells amaaazing! I'm not crazy for the honey and lemon or the soapiness so it just sits on my shelf and I rarely reach for it so was a waste of money for me.

The notes seemed fantastic and the reviews all told me I would like it but I'm learning that citrus just doesn't work well on my skin, and that's totally okay! If you are a girl and under 21 maybe wear this if you want to be perceived as mysterious, or more mature. I disagree with the reviews that describe this as smelling cheap or chemical-ish, but I'm not a huge fan because of that vetiver. Overall what I get is a beautiful rose-oud-patchouli scent that gets darker and richer the longer it's on the skin. To a true Coco Mademoiselle fan, CDN probably falls short, but to someone like me who just wants an easy to wear perfume equivalent of a beige suit, this is it.It does almost tip into 'pot pourri' territory on my skin, but not quite, and I find it very soothing. I know this is supposedly a dupe for coco mademoiselle but I have not tried that, but I will say on its own it is beautiful. It gives a more masculine/ unisex vibe and has a citrusy, aquatic opening with a soft-spicy musky, heavily vetiver dry-down. As I sit with this longer, the violet and vanilla become more apparent to me, yet this dark rose scent is still the most prominent.
