About this deal

This sensor is based on non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology and has good selectivity and oxygen-free dependency. By knowing the exact concentration of CO2, we can do somehing to reduce the CO2 and to protect our Earth. It can work on three different communications Protocols: SPI 3 Wire mode, SPI four-wire mode, and I2C mode.

There are multiple ways to connect Atlas Scientific sensors to an Arduino, but for ease of use; We will be using a very basic, easy to follow setup that will get our CO2 sensor running in UART mode in no time! I have been banging my head against the wall for days now and I have not found anything that can solve my issue on the internet either. Using the SCD30 with Arduino is a simple matter of wiring up the sensor to your Arduino-compatible microcontroller, installing the Adafruit SCD30 library we've written, and running the provided example code. It has characteristics such as high sensitivity, high resolution, low power consumption, fast response, anti-water vapor interference, no poisoning, high stability and long life. Anyway, I do not think that this correction would help, as the values continuously jump up to +-200 ppm.Unless you use it under carefully controlled circumstances, it is impossible to know what you are actually measuring. Once the CO2 concentration is high enough (voltage is lower than threshold), a digital signal (ON/OFF) will be released.

My NDIR sensors are far more reliable, calibrate on algorithm properly and only cost about 10 dollars more.Has anyone else tips for the MQ 135 or experiences with the "CCS811 Sensor Module GY-811" or similar? I am using CO2 gas sensor(Vernier) as my "correct" base sensor, and I am trying to calibrate four of my CO2 Cozir sensors. Normal mode: When the sensor is turned on, the BEEP message appears and a number between 700 and 1300 shows the alarm level that we have programmed.
