This is my favourite Roald Dahl book, they are all amazing, but this I keep going back to more than the others.

Dahl gifted readers some of literature’s most abiding and wonderful characters, from the lovable dream-whispering, word-mangling giant, the BFG, to magical Matilda, chocolate-maker extraordinaire Willy Wonka and many more.My 6 yr old couldn't wait to get to bed each night to read this, he was desperate to find out what Mr Fox had been up to and how he out tricks those 3 pesky Farmers. Mr Fox is a very clever fox - every evening he creeps down into the valley and helps himself to food from the nearby farms. Children will be taught eventually in school that stealing is perfectly fine, but they will be taught it under the more civilized and devastating guise of capitalism, the rights of corporations over people and the other legalized theft that our society holds up as the makings of success.
