I am like an addict craving my fix and I know I will be re-reading Dear Ava many, many times in the future. This didn't look like a high school new adult to me, so I was surprised when I picked it up and found out that it was.I am always a sucker for a man that steps up into the role of father when the man who should have didn’t. The storyline flowed perfectly, the characters easily became ones that we could all connect with on some level, making this book one I highly recommend. A favourite moment for me was the two epilogues we receive (lucky us) because they’re so pure and hopeful.

The book is angling to show us how girls who speak out against the actions of football players can be shunned and blamed. their love for one another was so next level compared to the other books i've read by this author that i was even more suprised by how good this was. If you're also like me and are mainly interested in the book because of ZW, then I would suggest giving this book a miss as he's not in it all the much.I absolutely love when a book can handle heavy topics in a way that doesn’t leave me just feeling sick.
