About this deal

Despite being the most common and cheapest of the cameras we reviewed, the Kodak Disposable Camera performed best. You can get 27 images on any roll of 24 as long as you can load the camera yourself in the dark and do not have to advance it to the first shot mark; however, with motorized auto loading cameras, you probably won’t get any more than 25. While the FunSaver’s above-average imaging qualities and relative simplicity make it a perfect choice for novice photographers, advanced photographers and even professionals can benefit from shooting a FunSaver.

Portable and Practical: Designed to slip into your pocket or bag, it's your constant companion, ready to capture the world's wonders at a moment's notice. But because we now scan film, we get the maximum benefit from the images and are not reliant on trusting that the 1 hour processor cares to get it right. Popular single-use 35mm disposable camera which is pre-loaded with high quality Kodak 800 ASA colour photo-film. The camera is limited to a single shutter speed of 1/100th of a second, loaded up with Kodak 800 speed film, exposed through a fixed focus 30mm f/10 lens.

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, cash, or other forms of electronic payment. but they give you a green saturated dreamy-vintage ish colour, (but perhaps Kodak Pro Image or Portra 160 offer you greenish results with better composition). Not that I spend much time arguing about terminology, but the word “disposable” has so many bad connotations these days and also is inaccurate when referring to single-use cameras, since they are recycled. The small camera slipped VERY easily in a pocket, and there was something about the 30mm lens that just seemed to be perfect. To get to it I had to take off the front cover, remove the battery and pull up the circuit board to get a glimpse of it.

Of course, these aren’t as popular with everyone having a camera on their phone, but we are seeing a resurgence in the disposable camera popularity. The 30mm f/10 lens found in the FunSaver features two aspherical plastic elements, which helps it achieve a sharpness uncommon in disposables. Plus putting an Ilford film in a Kodak camera would just be fun 🙂 I know there was a reuseable XP2 camera in the box, but I was working on THIS camera.Like nearly all single use cameras, it has a very simple plastic lens, manual film advance, and 27 exposures. Since 1976, we have developed literally millions of rolls of film with experienced lab professionals and film enthusiasts. Disposable cameras are all about simplicity and a carefree shooting experience, and the Kodak FunSaver brings those two traits admirably without any complication. The film was taken to a lab for developing, and scanned through a friend’s scanning service in which he uses a Noritsu (I forget the exact model).
