We were only introduced to the liqueur this week, when our couchsurfer from Gdansk gifted us with this bottle. We chose to use only natural ingredients such as fruits, flowers, herbs or honey in a rye spirytus reduced to 65% ABV for the maceration. The ineffectual results of both these pursuits earned many alchemists the reputation of being charlatans and hoodwinks, though we can certainly accept Goldwasser as one of the advantages of their cultural leverage. We visited this place after dinner with a good dessert in mind, we also took a plate of tapas and a bottle of wine.

It starts with a base of neutral alcohol, to which a variety of herbs and spices are added, including anise, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and licorice.
