More people than you might think are interested in 20 year old lenses, whether that is Minolta/Sony or Nikon. Again the main difference being Canon's "superior" EF mount lacked the massive backwards compatibility that Nikon's Z has.

It does not do Nikon's great legacy proud, but for most normal people with lenses introduced less than ten years old all should work great.

There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Me, I actually tend to prefer them over current lenses, because I prefer their compactness over the overengineered monstrosities of today, and I rarely have use for either lightning-fast and absolutely silent AF or perfect across-the-frame sharpness already wide open. If you are ok to not be able to use anymore these lenses on your Canon why not also agree to partially give up on them in a Nikon mirrorless world? Any FX DSLR works much better with manual focus lenses, adding correct EXIF data and faster electronic focus aids absent with this adapter.

PROOF: Around 1990 Nikon made a TC16a telextender which took manual F Ais lenses on F4-5 (and maybe F6) and it AUTOFOCUSED these totally manual lenses. The FTZ II is simpler and smaller, which some photographers will inherently prefer, and for Z9 owners in particular, it's a much better option.

Also very little about what is actually interesting - how Nikon managed to re-work and re-design the motor in the FTZ.
