On a side note, Deep Red has an overt similarity with another Hugo Boss release: Boss In Motion for men. I literally can't wear it without getting flashbacks of that time and getting close to some identity crisis between 19 year old me and 34 year old me.

Considering that I still smelled a bit of it on my wrist after a shower I'd say the staying power is very good. Wonderful fragrance, that I have never had the pleasure of meeting, which my sister has (fortunately) had as a gift from a friend with a very good taste, I must admit! probably for the begging of 2000 it’s good, but nowadays there are plenty much better floral perfumes. The name really is fitting, the color red evokes a certain kind of bright fruity scent, but the depth added to this really makes it something so special and very well done. The top notes include clementine, blood orange, mandarin, blackcurrant, and pear, creating a fruity and fresh opening.The original, now vintage, early 2000s version/formulation of this was seriously one of/if not the sexiest, sultriest, most seductive women's fragrance I have ever encountered.

I would have purchased this bottle even if only gave me 4 hours because it’s a scent profile I think I would’ve enjoyed for the life of the bottle, I don’t think I would’ve repurchased it though. This is dominated by cedar and white flowers with a touch of fruit at the start but it’s cold here today and this is not holding up at all - it’s so light!It comprises a mix of fruity, floral notes and is designed more so for evening wear than daytime wear. it does remind me a lot of Valentino V, which has been a favorite since middle school, but it's deeper and warmer. Back in the early 2000s, this was a big, spicy, sexy bomb of a scent - I would feel invincible when I sprayed it. After literally about 20 minutes, it dries down to quite a masculine (not a problem for me) skin scent (problem for me).

Unfortunately we are no longer able to send to France, Germany, Norway, Slovakia or Sweden due to customs regulations. I wear sweet fragrances better than anyone else I know and my skin chemistry favors sweet scents, but my tastes have matured and fresh sparkly sweet, spicy/oriental, woody fragrances are my favorite when the weather's cooler. It doesn't seem to have the same strength, intrigue and lasting power any more, but 20 years on, neither do I. I dunno why this perfume has a different kind of seduction sense like a "powerful kind but not sultry yet somewhat alluring in unexplainable way".In the early 2000s someone offered me a bottle of Deep Red because they didn't like it and it immediately became favourite. It's a really hard scent to describe because everything is so well blended and bounces off one another so effortlessly.
