It's full-bodied and rich, with an abundance of dark forest fruits and oak spice that will linger on your palate. On the palate, flavors of dark chocolate, raisins, and spices meld together amidst a lingering finish that balances perfectly with its 43% ABV.

But in the past I've found older Glenfarclas tended to need a little longer, around 30-35 mins for the 25yo. But, in a whisky landscape largely dominated by far-away multinational corporations, I understood why they make such a point to sell this fairly unique aspect of the distillery.
