About this deal

Be swept away by the new breath-taking romantic novel from Sunday Times bestselling author and Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke. Main Hi Kahaani Hoon”, an Audible Original is a weekly storytelling show of 20 episode from Audible, written-created-performed by Major Akhill Pratap; an ex-Army Officer popularly known as The Soldier and The Storyteller. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself.

Although the character development was still strong, the ambience I felt previously didn’t exist this time and I felt slightly let down by it. In fact, the only bad thing I can say about the whole experience is that I am now hanging for book four. Anton Du Beke – the King of Ballroom, 'Strictly Come Dancing' royalty, and household name – is one of this generation's all-round entertainers. Imagine having three life-coaches who had been through the toughest mental and physical challenges; a crack team of problem-solvers who knew in their day job that one mistake could be the difference between life - and death. The story mainly goes around the up and coming wedding of Nancy Nettleton and Raymond de Guise (aka) ray cohen, and all the trails and tribulations that surrounds it, but there is so much more happening around it that you become engrossed in each and every characters story.I’d heard so many great things about this series and Anton as an author, I was so excited to get stuck in! As the band strikes up in the Grand Ballroom to celebrate the nuptials of Raymond and Nancy, one thing is certain - this will be a Christmas to remember. Du Beke on - a man of many hats to be sure and he can easily inhabit the mind of a dancer and make a reader feel the away and rhythm of dance.

I have become so fond of all the characters that although this book has many happy moments, I know that the war which they all dread is coming and in all likelihood all their lives will be affected.

The debonair Raymond de Guise and his love, Nancy; Mr Charles as he conducts his hotel director magic; Mrs Moffat as she cares for the girls under her leadership; Frank, Nancy’s brother, as he weaves his own story; Miss Edgerton as she steers the Daughters of Salvation. It is full of the richest characters who all have backstories which in some way help define them and so, to get the very best from them, you would be better playing catch up first. My granddaughter, not a reader by any stretch of the imagination, but a lover of dance, may very well enjoy this book and, if it brings more lovers of dance to books, that is pretty wonderful, too. Behind the scenes, the staff work tirelessly, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, guarding the secrets of their guests – but they have many of their own that they fear will be revealed.
