About this deal
The Becca Shimmering skin perfector pressed in the shade Moonstone, is a shimmering golden powder highlighter that is the perfect colour for Irish skintones.
I have moonstone in a single, opal in a mini and champagne and prosecco pop in the Jaclyn Hill x Becca face palette. Inspired by the dazzling light of the midday sun, this iconic formula is enriched with ultrafine luminescent pearls that absorb, reflect and refract light to amplify your natural radiance. I can wear this shade when my face is heavily contoured and bronzed, but on a daily basis- it looks like a “patch of highlighter” on my skin. Each shade can be used alone or swirled together to create a custom glow for the highlight of your life! The only visible difference is that Gold Digger has slightly more white sheen than Moonstone, which has more of a gold sheen.
Moonstone gives a more subtle amount of glow to the skin compared to some of the other shades in the line.
It’s deeper than and has a much warmer yellow tone than Champagne Pop, which is cooler and more neutral than Prosecco Pop. And unlike traditional pressed powders, this one-of-a-kind formula blends pigments with liquids, to create an unparalleled, creamy feel that applies like seamless silk and never cakes. If you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider there will be another round of their Spring Beauty Event coming up this week! If you want a more trendy duo chrome kind of shimmer opt for their Light Chaser Highlighters (reviewed here when I was super tan! But that was partially my mistake, because if you apply it BEFORE you pwder, it really gives you a flattering, blinding, elegant champagne glow.
First thing I noticed right off the bat is RMS Living Luminizer is waaaaaay more subtle than the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfectors. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . This shade has a shift to it that changes from pink to gold as it catches the light, but it’s a subtle effect.
I gravitate toward a smooth and seamless powder like the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter or the highlighter in theBalm’s Will Powder Palette. I’d say Pearl has even more “pizzaz” in comparison to Moonstone since white is such an intensely bright shade. I’ve used up entire pans of Opal and Champagne Pop which is huge for me since I own so many highlighters I rarely ever hit pan. In comparison to the BECCA highlighters, the RMS Living Luminizer is a lot more natural looking on the skin. Since your pale I feel like champagne would work better to add as a highlight if you applied bronzer.
