The humidor was seasoned with the Boveda 84% for 2 weeks as prescribed, and I am not having any humidity issues. Within an enclosed container, Boveda monitors the ambient RH (relative humidity) and adds or removes moisture to maintain the specific RH engineered into the pack. If your Boveda is wrapped in a clear overwrap, remove the overwrap first before putting Boveda in your humidor. Although Boveda packs are specified to be a certain RH level please be aware that this can vary based on climate and storage type. The 75% accommodates a high amount of moisture loss allowing the humidor to maintain a high 60s RH level.
