About this deal

All Powerseeker Telescopes come well equipped, with a tripod and at least two eyepieces, designed with beginners in mind they are easy no tool setup required. Offering exceptional value, these telescopes feature portable yet powerful designs with ample optical performance to excite any newcomer to the world of the amateur astronomer.

Although this finder is great, the bracket used to attach it to the telescope is not very stiff and can become deformed or warped over time. The Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ Telescope has superb light gathering power due to the large 127mm primary mirror.Unlike traditional telescopes, the RASA design ingeniously places the imaging sensor at the front of the telescope tube, creating an ultra-fast f/2. The optical óres are treated with multiple layers to increase the luminosity and sharpness of the genes. although at day time, you can see through it, although the eye piece is really small so it makes for uncomfortable viewing. Amateur astronomy is a great family hobby that can be enjoyed year round, and Celestron´s PowerSeekers are the ideal choice for families looking for an affordable and high quality telescope that will provide many hours of enjoyment for children and adults alike. I have used the Barlow with the 20mm and with the Moon it has good effects however it seems like the scope is set up to work perfectly with just the 20mm.

Unfortunately, this lack of fine adjustment controls makes it unsuitable for telescopes designed primarily for viewing the Moon and planets like the AstroMaster LT 76AZ. With a diverse collection of eyepieces, we can customize our observations for an immersive stargazing experience. The Powerseeker 114EQ also comes with a 3x Barlow lens to give additional magnification for those more distant night sky objects as well as nearer objects in our solar system. It also features collapsible altazimuth mounts suitable for terrestrial viewing as well as astronomical use. At first glance, Celestron’s AstroMaster 76AZ looks like a great choice – it’s the smallest reflector in the AstroMaster lineup and boasts respectable quality optics along with a simple alt-azimuth mount. This is further exacerbated by the top-heavy, unbalanced nature of such a mount design when paired with long optical tubes like the LT 76AZ; the telescope is inherently unbalanced and will torque the mount either down or up when aimed, which renders it nearly impossible to keep in place without locking down most or all of the altitude axis.

This telescope in an excellent choice for children, but young people of over 10 years of age and adults will definitely get more pleasure out of a Newtonian telescope such as the Omegon 114/900 EQ-1. In addition to all this, why not use the included smartphone adapter and capture great images with your astronomy telescope. EclipSmart solar products feature Solar Safe filter technology providing the ultimate protection from harmful solar radiation, including both IR and UV light, and filters 99.The brightest emission nebulae, like the Lagoon (M8) and Orion Nebula (M42), look good provided you can escape the worst light pollution conditions, though they pale in comparison to the views through a larger instrument under dark skies. As such, using it is extremely frustrating at even fairly low magnifications, as you will either overshoot your target or watch it slowly drift out of view as the scope droops in altitude. Replacing the eyepieces will certainly improve the view and you could always retain them if you upgrade in the future. Celestron Powerseeker Telescopes are a range of budget telescopes for beginners and are excellent value for money telescopes that are great as an introductory telescope for astronomy. Picstop’s exclusive Celestron Powerseeker Relector Telescope 127AZ, is a superb package – great for beginners to astronomy it comes with the following supplied eyepieces - 20mm and 4mm eyepieces, plus a 3x barlow lens, these quality optics make for great celestial viewing.

The Powerseeker 76AZ has a Newtonian reflector, offering a larger aperture and greater light gathering power needed to resolve the faint detail of hundreds of deep-sky and other celestial objects. I have more than 10 years with my PowerSeeker 76 AZ, I've never collimated it, but even with that I can see Saturn and Jupiter as a small point. ED stands for "extra-low dispersion," which refers to the composition and optical properties of the glass used for the lenses. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.Loolking at the standard eyepieces, the 4mm is much too powerful for the aperture of this scope and i would not expect great views from it. The AstroMaster LT 76AZ attaches to its mount with a very short Vixen-style dovetail rail bolted directly to the bottom of the optical tube. Solar filter – Customized Solar Filter for optical equipment for observation and photography of sun during eclipses, transits or general Sunspots observation on solar disk. Saturn’s rings and possibly the Cassini Division within them can be seen, along with stripes on Saturn and a few of its moons.
