When I first attempted this fragrance, the weather was still cold and it did not resonate well, it smelled old and outdated. it will radiate a comforting while humble leathery note and a bit of vetiver and a tinge of berry sweetness. I told her she smelled like Chloe and she said something along the lines of, "Oh, right, that's what this is. Edit: There's no banana note and it does NOT smell like bananas, but it somehow makes me think of and want bananas! Sillage is moderate and longevity is decent on my skin, especially for an Edt (it lasts about 6 hours): despite of the prominent floral notes, this scent has a certain softness to it that would perhaps make it a good choice for someone who wants to venture into the white florals territory for the first time (at least, before trying the most sophisticated and sultry ones).

Just Cavalli doesn't smell like David Beckham Classic but it certainly shares that amber and Texas cedar warmth; especially in the drydown. If the performance was good enough maybe it will take high rate and get hyped by the fragrance community. When this first came to the market, I smelled it and for some reason it reminded me of Ivoire Balmain. This is a captivating, sexy and provocative fragrance, just like the woman who wears it, a fragrance that brings to light our wildest and most feline side, and allows us to show ourselves as we are, without fear, without restriction, simply by assuming our personality.

It was unfortunately not the kind of fragrance my partner and I tend to enjoy, (his tastes lean towards slightly sweeter masculines). So at first this was a really easy no for me, but then I came back to it a few weeks later and gave it more of a chance and I was blown away, it mellowed out into a soft breezy yet slightly warm scent, it is really difficult to describe this one but it is pure beauty in a bottle.I have to give this sucker an A+ for tenacity though; despite taking a long, hot shower and even using dish soap on my wrists, I can not seem to wash this scent off! I have to fully agree with the press material on my sample card that states “A creamy, sexy floral: dazzling, magnetic and seductive”: there really isn’t much to add to this description. When I woke up this morning I could still smell the perfume on my wrist but it had taken another turn and become just sugary smelling. I can see some similarities w Davidoff Hot pepper i think it's the pimento note has nothing to do w MBL at all.

The oils serve as a carrier of the fragrance, whereas the alcohol forms a bridge between oil and skin. I know Just Cavalli is neroli + tiare, while Alien is a couple of jasmines, but both have a beautiful, floral-woody drydown that make them similar.
