Despite the surprisingly early-doors recall, it was a curiously positive experience overall, though, because the aftersales treatment from Chandlers was flawless. And I like this side of the M440i’s personality almost as much as I like its conventional side, which is there ready and waiting to entertain whenever a decent B-road appears in the windscreen and it’s time to switch the systems off. Yet its rear seats are relatively cramped to sit in and are pretty awkward to access, while its boot, although decent enough in size, isn’t exactly cavernous. It’s hard to think of many other cars that occupy this much road area while also offering so little cabin space. The Orion 440/4 is fitted with an effective and efficient Whale floor mounted space heater and blown air heating. The hot water is supplied with the tried and tested Truro Ultrastore dual fuel water heater. Both pieces of equipment can be run off electric and gas ensuring that heat and hot water is available on demand. The caravan is fitted with both 12V and mains LED lighting system ensuring that the caravan is cosy and well-lit at night. At the rear of the Olympus 440/4, the end bathroom and can be used a private dressing room and is well-equipped with a Thetford c-250 swivelling cassette toilet with electric flush, a washbasin in a vanity unit and a separate shower cubicle.
