If the reader pays attention, they’ll see this as less of Pleiadian teachings and more as a tool kit for rediscovering who they are.

I found this to be one of the most important parts of the book. Our abilities to embrace emotions and work through them without numbing practices and unhealthy coping mechanisms is something that has existed in society for eons. At times, this book was hard to stay focused on, mostly because of the way it was written, but when I was able to stay focused, I was able to get into her points and take in her messages. In an effort to write this novel, and because all authors must, I started doing research on Pleiadians. It turns out, there are a lot of people out there who not only love Pleiadians, but identify with them personally, and on a spiritual level. There are many misconceptions about the idea of godhood. The universes are full of intelligent beings who have, over time, evolved and developed all sorts of capabilities and functions to serve their needs to express themselves creatively. The importance behind existence and consciousness is creativity, and creativity takes many forms.

Barbara is the author of Bringers of the Dawn, a book that harbors a wealth of knowledge about teachings channeled directly from Pleiadians. The Lost Pleiad’s original myth revolves around one star in the Seven Sisters Constellation which rests in the Taurus constellation. The myth of that star is that one of the Seven Sisters is lost. There are many stories as to why that is, which is why I am writing my very own story about it.

I liked her exposition on the perils of media and television. “We strongly recommend that you get rid of your television sets. They are the primary tool used to manipulate your consciousness on a day-to-day basis. The use of subliminals to upset human consciousness has become a worldwide program” (pg. 91). Despite all the looney tunes, there were moments of clarity and some interesting perspectives in this book: the idea that our thoughts determine reality, present mindedness, discussions of harmonious vibration (not totally sure what that is), as well as tips on dealing with painful emotions. It was kind of uplifting...in a really out-there way. We must, as a species, make it our intention to stay very clear, to stay centered, and always to bring ourselves into the moment. Stop living in the future or living in the past, and always live in your now. Say to yourself, ‘What do I want?’ Your words are either empowering or disempowering. Always act as if there is an impeccable purpose to everything you do” (pg. 117-121). Though published in 1992 the writing is even more pertinent to the world's present situation. We see clearly the presence of negative and positive forces. People can choose which force to live by. Darkness or light. Darkness feeds off fear and other negative emotions, by which people can choose to be controlled. Or we can resist fear and hate and choose to live and walk in the light and rule ourselves through positive emotions, such as love and joy.

The ultimate tyranny in a society is not control by martial law. It is control by the psychological manipulation of consciousness, through which reality is defined so that those who exist within it do not even realize that they are in prison. They do not even realize that there is something outside of where they exist. We represent what is outside of what you have been taught exists. It is where you sometimes venture and where we want you to dwell; it is outside of where society has told you you can live. And what is said in this book seems pointed at me, the many lessons I've learned by living and observing and the miracles I've witnessed. Yes, miracles. Overall, if you are on a search for more spiritual clarity and are open to possibilities outside the norm, this is the book for you. If, however, you are experiencing a little resistance or know your current belief systems will be challenged with a book like this, I still think you should read it, but now may not be the best time.

When I started reading this book, it was full of knowledge I already knew, but definitely didn’t mind reading again. What I gained from this book was not so much the teachings of, “here’s how the Pleiadians do it because we said so,” but it was about connecting to your spiritual self.
