I adore this world & the found family this series has brought into my life and I don’t know what I was before I read this’ Not to say Saving 6 didn’t have also good support characters like Aoife’s parents and her best friend, but after meeting the Kavanagh family, Aoife’s dysfunctional family just didn’t hit the same. I really loved Joey and Tony’s (Aoife’s dad) bromance tho that was cute. How can I not like the man, one of the few, who took a chance on Joey and gave him a job. If they look as good on you as that yellow thong you’re wearing, then I’m going to have to agree,” he replied, gesturing to the perfect view up my skirt that I had unintentionally given him.

Hot tears of bitterness and regret dripped from my lashes, splashing onto my cheeks and mixing with the dried blood.Years of mistreatment, mixed with the beating I had just taken, had driven me to the point where at sixteen years old, I couldn’t stand up on my own two feet. The minute he said her name, I found myself searching the room for her familiar blonde hair, only to discover that she was already staring at me. This can be really upsetting to read at times as it follows Joey's problems and the decline in his well-being and mental health. that being said, i cannot express the love i have for these books and joey and aoife 😭. if joey and shannon are a sweet, slow burn, joey and aoife are like fire and gasoline. they notice each other on day one but orbit around each other for years, each spending time with other people who never stood a chance, before finally giving in to their connection. I hate it when the main characters don’t get together, because one of the characters thinks they are not enough. Something similar happens when Joey keeps rejecting Aoife, because he doesn’t want to hurt her and I could understand Joey’s reason so well and imo Joey had valid reasons for not wanting to get attached to another person. He has enough on his hands, he doesn’t need to care about another person. Aoife knew what she was doing when she keeps dating Pest Rice for fun until Joey was ready.

Three words that should have held more meaning and importance than any other question I’d ever heard. Problem was, I knew in my heart that whatever answer was given, whatever lie she told herself, and us, the end result would be the same. I knew she was afraid of him, I understood what it felt like to be petrified of the man in our kitchen, but she was the grown up. She was supposed to be the adult, the mother, the protector, not the eighteen-year-old boy whose shoulders that role had fallen onto. I think it’s nice that your boyfriend and your dad are such good buddies,” Casey laughed. “They’ve got this cute little bromance going on. It’s adorable.” This ends now,’ Tadhg replied, taking another step forward. ‘Get off my brother and get out of this house for good, or I’ll slit your throat and you can die.’

He's going to get better," Darren told them. "You are. You can do this, Joey Lynch. You're the strongest, most headstrong person I've ever known in my life." this series will not be for everyone, because like i said, parts of it are VERY dark. but i just can’t recommend it enough. every book reads like a movie. and for every dark or hopeless scene, there’s one that will have you literally laughing out loud or believing that joey and aoife are pure soulmates. An epic and unforgettable love story continues in Keeping 13, the second book in the international bestselling and TikTok-phenomenon The Boys of Tommen series, from Chloe Walsh. The power and pain of first love has never been more deeply felt than in Chloe Walsh's extraordinary stories about the irresistible Boys of Tommen, which will give you the ultimate book hangover. The reader reaction to The Boys of Tommen says it all! 'The chemistry, the love, everything about this book was so good it gave me all the feels . . . Beautiful book, beautiful words. Chloe Walsh you're my home' ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 'Chloe Walsh has surpassed herself again, from the get-go you will be hooked, you will be sad, angry, elated, hysterical and you will absolutely love it!' ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 'This was absolutely EVERYTHING. I find it difficult to even put into words just how much this book made me laugh, cry and swoon' ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 'There aren't enough stars for this book. It has everything, I laughed, I cried, I fumed and I despaired . . . This is a rare book, one that evokes every emotion' ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I knew that even though my younger brothers were praying for a resolution, this was going to be an anti-climactic moment. Johnny Kavanagh needs to be wrapped up under my Christmas Tree this year or I’m having words with Santa. I’m not kidding this boy was something else. He went through so much and yet still showed excellent character development. I am utterly in love with every relationship this boy has, I love reading characters with personality and Chloe Walsh has clearly poured her heart and soul into every single one. I especially loved reading his interactions with the Team.
