About this deal

The GT-1000 is loaded with immensely expressive guitar amplifiers, all meticulously crafted with AIRD. In contrast to traditional modeling methods, AIRD reproduces the complex internal component interactions of tube amps in every way, from guitar input to speaker output and everything in-between. The result is a complete interactive system that’s a living, breathing instrument, just like your favorite high-end tube amp. The Software / Firmware here is rather in is infancy in most ways, and does not have the sophistication of modern consumer computing devices - I expect this will come eventually, but for now it's all a little manual and clunky really comparatively. A new, ultra-fast DSP chip allows for seamless patch changing, delay carryover and deep control over signal routing I personally am broadly satisfied with the tones and range of functions I can achieve with the GT-1000 CORE, and while it did not exactly match expectations - it certainly performs well enough to justify its ongoing place on Slot #34 in the pedal-chain. It allows me to do most of what the Synesthesia does and so much more besides.

The GT-1000 is capable of both sending MIDI commands to control other MIDI capable pedals (such as the BOSS 500-Series pedals), and receiving MIDI commands so that it can be integrated into larger rigs and controlled by another MIDI controller. Hold down the WRITE button while powering ON the unit to go into update mode. The GT-1000 should pop up on your computer screen as a removable disk drive. If not, on Windows, open the GT-1000/Removable Disk in My Computer, and on Mac, open the GT-1000 icon from your desktop.Press LOAD, then select the IR that you want to load onto the unit. The GT-1000 accepts IRs in .wav format. The CORE is somewhat a lesser proposition for not having this essential feature. For me the Eventide H9 would be unusable without its Bluetooth App Interface. For the GT-1000 CORE the on-device interface is relatively decent although somewhat rudimental and 'go-fish' in places. You're not always fully aware of where you need to be making changes - but compared to the poor H-9 on-device pedal topology and interface - the CORE is rather a lot more straight-forward. I do though tend to find myself on my knees quite a lot for making adjustments - while a proper Bluetooth App would allow me to do all that standing up! Use Knobs 2 to 6 to change the function of the highlighted cell (for instance in the example image above, Knob 5 would change the BPM TAP function currently assigned to CTL 2). You can rotate through the assignable settings until you find what you’re looking for, OR press down on the knob to view the full list of settings. This is actually a very significant miss for me - as I'm so used to using the Bluetooth App with my Eventide H9 Max - and I hate having to drag my laptop over to the pedalboard / pedal-chain and hardwire it to the pedal every time a firmware release / update arrives. The whole Firmware Update process is unnecessarily clunky as a result. The insight from this is (IN MY EXPERIENCE): the quality of your guitar/bass and the electronics play a HUGE role in the output quality. It gives the impression of how clear and transparent the converters are. If you use a good quality guitar bass with good quality components and electronics, you will really hear each detail. I am seeing a huge difference between my guitar and bass, and it has made me realise it is time to upgrade the bass :D

Industry-leading 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing, and 96 kHz sampling rate throughout

SEND 1, SEND 2: 1 k ohm Recommended load impedance OUTPUT L/PHONES, R/MONO: 10 k ohms or greater (Phones: 44 ohms or greater) Built-in Bluetooth for wireless editing via BOSS Tone Studio app for iOS and Android mobile devices However, each and every one of these footswitches can be customized! So if you wanted to run your GT-1000 like a virtual pedalboard and assign specific effects to the footswitches instead of patches, you can. NATURAL BASS— a natural clean sound specifically designed for bass. It has a balanced voicing with responsive EQ controls and a smooth gain curve to allow the inherent tone of your bass to shine through. Nevertheless, there’s a lot you can do with three footswitches. There are two basic modes of operation for them, Memory and Manual, switched between by pressing the second (middle) and CTL 1 footswitch simultaneously.

Easily toggle between 'Memory' and 'Manual' modes to recall presets orswitcheffects on/off, andcontrol deeper parameterswith external footswitches and expressions pedals. You can evenremotely switch channels on your amp via the GT-1000CORE!And with MIDI capability, the unitcan control or be controlled by other MIDI-compatible devices in your rig. Incredible Processing Power Using the GT-1000CORE is enjoyable. We love the display, even if we still favour the USB cable and desktop software for those long editing sessions. But if you’re worried about connectivity and the organisation of switches, you might want to look at the full-scale GT-1000 instead.“ Now that you’ve set your delay tempo to subdivisions, you need a hands-free way to input the tempo for the delay to work off — and the answer is of course, tap tempo. Sharing the same roadworthy build as its larger sibling, the GT-1000 Core has three main footswitches, a set of five soft knobs for instant editing, a nice and clear display, plus a set of six buttons, output and select controls. You can easily toggle between Memory mode and Manual by pressing down on the middle and CTL 1 (right) footswitch simultaneously.MIDI (IN, OUT) connectors Power Supply AC adaptor Current Draw 1.2 A Accessories AC adaptor (PSB-1U + AC Cord Set)
