Flymo EasiStore mowers use modern brushless motors. Brushless are considered to be more efficient than the classic design of a brush motor. Brushless motors also tend to be less prone to burnout or fatigue. Everything fitted together nice and easy. When it comes to the handles, they simply screw together with a twist cap, so there’s no need to use a screwdriver or any other tools. On the left side, the caps were different from the right. This makes it possible to wrap the cable around the left-hand side after use, which is a handy feature. The Flymo EasiMow 340R is a nifty, lightweight little lawn mower that has seriously impressed me. It’s not a mower that’s got the most features and cutting functions in the world, but it’s got more than enough to deliver a fantastic cut. For example, a rear roller and cut to edge which adds that little extra something to make your lawn stand out from the rest.

There is no vertical storage with this model, unlike the Flymo EasiStore range of models. Height Adjustment The Flymo EasiMow 340R runs on a 1400 watt motor. This is a nice amount of power for an electric mower of this size, so you can feel confident that it’ll get the job done efficiently. The large and non-compressible grass box’s design means that you can store it on the rear — using the mower as a stand. The handlebar will fold into two — but the real practicality comes when the machine is stood upright for storage, and the grass box is hanging from it. Flymo is a trusted and well respected brand, where service, parts and support are readily available and very reasonably priced.You can wrap the excess power cable around the cable hanger to prevent twisting or getting caught up in the blade if you happen to run over it.

The 300R has a series of spacers that the operator must insert or remove from between the blade and the motor, to change the cutting height. And this also limits the 300R’s height choices to 3, with 20mm between each. Again giving you a choice of the same lowest and highest cutting heights from 20mm to 60mm. Cutting Diameter There are two options for the EasiStore range. You can either get the electric corded version, which is available across the range of blade sizes, from 30 centimetres to 38 centimetres. Or the cordless versions, which applies to the smaller 300R and 340R models. If you don’t want to mess around when cutting your lawn, then I would absolutely recommend giving the Flymo EasiMow 340R a try. Its convenience at its best, but doesn’t scrimp on features that allow you to create a neat and professional looking finish to your lawn. Designed for the smaller garden, the Flymo EasiStore 300R is a compact 30cm (12") electric rotary lawn mower powered by a 1200W motor. The mower is equipped with an integrated rear roller to create a neat, striped finish to your lawn. The 300R has a smaller 30 litre collection box and the larger 380R has a larger 45 litre grass collection box, should you prefer one of these other options.The handlebar also has a built-in cable tidy, allowing you to keep the cable neat and untwisted, ready for the next time you lay it out. It’s also great to note that there is a handy cable wrap so you won’t get in a twist when storing the mower.
