About this deal

But she did not stop there. She wanted it all for herself. So all she wants to do is get rid of her husband. In the aftermath of 9/11, a failed Brighton businessman sees an opportunity to shed his debts, disappear, and reinvent himself in another country. Actor John Simm, who portrays Roy Grace in the series, has said he would like to play the detective superintendent for years to come, which is promising for fans of the show. Who is Peter James? Then she screams and the phone goes dead. The police are on the scene within minutes, but Logan has vanished, leaving behind her neatly parked car and mobile phone. James is very active in his community. He has been involved in twenty-six movies (including The Merchant of Venice), is a chairman of the Brighton and Hove Drugs Commission, helps out with the local neighborhood watch, is an Ambassador for Brighton University, and helps with Action Medical Research. He also donated a police car to the Sussex Police in 2008.

Later on, he moved to Canada in 1970 where he worked as a gopher and then a writer for the Polka Dot Door TV show. He also worked as a screenwriter and film producer for 26 films over the years, prior to him returning home to the UK. The Roy Grace series is the most famous and prominent book series written by Peter James. This series also established him as a writer and allowed him to create this massive 18-book series. The first Roy Grace book, Dead Simple, was released in 2005 by Pan Macmillan. The tagline read, “Four bodies, one suspect, no trace. The first case for Detective Superintendent Roy Grace.” From there, the story begins with a prank gone wrong. Michael Harrison disappears into the big city without a trace. But things are about to change. Roy Grace is still haunted by the memories of his wife and still thinks about her disappearance. But amongst all this turmoil and struggle, he has found love again in Cleo, who is also pregnant with his child. Dead Man’s Time calls Roy Grace in once more. This time it’s for a burglary that has taken over a million pounds worth of loot. It has also left an elderly man who lives there dying. As Grace shows up on the scene, it’s clear that the family does not care so much about the valuables so much as one valuable in particular. They will do anything to get it. They don’t care about breaking the law and Grace is thrown into a hot pursuit that takes him through Europe and eventually all the way to New York. Dead Tomorrow is a great book that mixes the thriller aspect of this series with actual emotional elements, making the readers feel a mix of balanced emotions.

When a major Hollywood movie begins filming in Brighton, it has the potential to mean big things for the local area. Unfortunately, star Gaia is being pursued by a stalker – and DS Roy Grace is tasked with finding the stalker before something goes terribly wrong. Sinister and riveting… Peter James is one of the best British crime writers, and therefore one of the best in the world. (Lee Child)

DS Roy Grace is sure Brian Bishop murdered his socialite wife. The only problem? He was sixty miles away, asleep in bed at the time of the murder. Has someone stolen Bishop's identity, or is he just a very clever killer?
