About this deal

I wouldn’t say that this is a masculine fragrance at all, it’s rather unisex leaning feminine, having so many strong floral notes and a considerable amount of sweetness in the base. There is no power. It smells like a scent that has the potential to be very powerful. The truth is that the projection is limited from the get-go. Longevity is ok, but only as a skin scent. This bottle you buy for yourself, not for the audience. And what a pity that is. They should reformulate this. From all Tom Ford Scents. Cmon. Maybe thats the beauty of Tom Ford that one being a man does not realize this scent could become another creation on the lady. Hehe.

The woody notes are revealed more once the fragrance starts to dry on skin. They provide a creamy, luxurious, and mature presence here. They’re blended with the other notes in a way that feels so effortless. The bottle does this stuff justice because the scent is liquid gold. Overall, it's a warm, masculine, comforting, and perfectly balanced blend that improves upon the EDP in many ways. To me it is definitely an evening and more formal scent. I think it is too dense for very high temperature situations. I am middle-aged husband and dad of three small kids. My wife and I don’t have the freedom or energy to go out on the town for date nights, and of course not in the dating/hookup scene. So my use case for evening sexy intimate scents is lightly spray after shower at 10pm and go down to have sexy time with my wife 2-3 times a week. Tom Ford Noir Extreme is undeniably sensual and extremely delicious. I asked a few other fragrance reviewers for their thoughts and here are their responses:I almost gave this one up in a swap and I’m so glad I didn’t. It’s sweet and absolutely in the gourmand category, which is why I almost did swap it.. I shy away from that genre a lot of times. But the spice in this makes it so likable, it’s not just vanilla and fluffy softness… to me it’s more unique than I gave it credit for at first. I did like it at first, don’t get me wrong, I just didn’t fully know what I had right away either. The other notes in this really do come out, it’s not simply a one dominate note fragrance. One of my wife’s supreme favorites of the 100+ that I have sampled or bought is…..La Nuit de L’Homme. I spray it and smell it on many nights of the past year. Noir Extreme captures the daring, opulent side of the Noir man. He knows his desires, his vices, and what brings him pleasure and relishes in the indulgence of it. It is this private side he reserves for himself, at its maximum expression.”– TOM FORD The bottle is quite simple yet luxurious. No frills and the font fits the bottle. It really fits the scent. Atomizer is above average, but no Chanel quality. Interestingly, La Nuit opens with a very striking cardamom note that immediately hits me in Noir Extreme Parfum’s opening also. So I will compare the two openings and how they diverge.

The bottle feels heavy, which is a sign of luxury. The art deco lines are imprinted around the cap, and down the sides of the bottle. Look closer, and you’ll see ‘T’ and ‘F’ engraved on each side – according to experts, Tom Ford did this to echo the Noir Extreme story of two sides to every man. You can find out a few more things Team Escentual have learnt from Tom Ford experts with our guide to the brand: Noir Extreme Perfume it was a love at first sniff. I remember testing it for the first time in Milan in Sephora during early spring. I was very impressed with the way it smells and performs but in my opinion it’s mainly a fall and winter scent so I said I will give it another try before deciding to buy when falls comes. Tested it last week and nothing changed, it’s really delicious. Noir Extreme Parfum lastest around 12 hours on my skin, and hours later, I could still smell it in my hair when I went to bed. When I sprayed my wool jumper (as I knew I wouldn’t wash it as frequently) I could still smell it a week later.

I don't know if there's enough in either the fragrance notes or the performance to be a completely different fragrance. So in that part it is akin t being a true Parfum (if you believe all that crap). I love Noir Extreme’s inspiration; it’s all about the darker side of passion and the inability to control impulses. This is a very solid fragrance. I feel it's mostly for playful occasions. If you like Armani Code Absolu, I think you'll like this for its similarity and differences.

Noir Extreme is not a loud scent. From my testing, I get about 4+ hours of modest projection from the skin, and it stays on my skin for 12+ hours in total. It does leave a very addictive scent trail too, don’t be surprised if people ask what you’re wearing when you pass them. Occasions and Versatility At the top, I get the cardamon, I get the vanilla, and I get a little saffron, but not enough saffron to result in a leather accord. The mandarin is very subtle. It has an amber feel, and the sandalwood lingers along with the spices, and this with the powdery feel, defines the scent. The Scents: Noir Extreme and Noir Extreme Parfum both hero the amber note for its sensuality and the Indian Kulfi Accord for its nutty sweetness. But to me, I find original Noir Extreme less spicy and more gourmand. Whereas Noir Extreme Parfum spices the whole thing up with fiery ginger. Noir Extreme Parfum also has tonka bean, which, unbeknown to many, has addictive, creamy, chocolate-like qualities. If you thought Noir Extreme wasn’t enough for you, the Parfum will be.
