Season Three of Yellowstone releases on 23rd January whilst Yellowstone Season Four follows a week later on the 30th January 2023. The gripping drama and taut action fuel the Neo-Western’s popularity, but there’s no doubt cast members like A-Lister Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly keep everything together. Most shows are starting to slow down by their third or fourth season. Yellowstone only seems to be accelerating. Sheridan's series doesn't pull any punches, and is really the first fully R-rated series that we've seen on basic cable. Yes, other shows have pushed the boundaries here and there, but Yellowstone is just as gritty and raw as any HBO or Showtime drama – with frequent profanity, violence, and nudity. Yellowstone’s 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio is mildly reserved given the many action scenes. The entire surround soundstage is fully utilized with music often spread across several channels. Crystal-clear dialogue reproduction isn’t drowned out in the modestly dynamic mastering. Gun shots and car crashes could offer more in terms of impact. Yellowstone’s sound design is crisp and precise, vividly portraying the realities of ranching. Yellowstone depicts daily life on the ranch: early rising, herding cows, horse breaking… but intertwines those routines with dirty politics, violent encounters between native tribes and the police, and the personal battles each character faces.

Inside Yellowstone (HD 3:43) – This is a typical promotional featurette that gives an overview of the series and its first season, including comments from members of the cast and creator/director Taylor Sheridan. and color depth, issues that extend to some scenes throughout where the palette runs very hot, leaving various shots and scenes almost look at contemporary Western ranching that is still, in some ways, governed by classic Cowboy credos and justice, whether in negotiation with Paramount has always treated Yellowstone well on BD. The season’s ten episodes are spread over three BD-50s, given ample AVC encodes. I wouldn’t call Yellowstone necessarily flawless picture quality, but season three’s clarity and detail really jump out in 1080P video. Exteriors exude immaculate definition and incredible detail. Colors are nicely saturated with proper flesh-tones and the neutral contrast holds up under duress.
