Connecting and setting up the Mixars Quattro with Ableton Live is a simple task, after they're connected you'll be able to adjust the software's parameters from your midi DJ controller. But, if you don't find what you need here, keep in mind that VirtualDJ Pro Full is compatible with many other controllers, mixers, etc. on the market. VirtualDJ Pro Full is natively compatible with an impressive list of hardware from many manufacturers. And, with the full MIDI compatibility and the open plugin architecture, it can connect to virtually anything. The following hardware is not supported with Serato DJ when used with macOS 11 Big Sur (or by extension, Apple Silicon/M1 computers). However, as mentioned in the Recording section, both Microphone Inputs can be recorded via the REC button of VirtualDJ via the dedicated recording input channel of the Audio interface.While VirtualDJ can bypass it's timecode engine and use the source of timecode signal as line input, it is also possible to have mixed audio configurations with both Timecode (DVS) and Line-Inputs if special use cases require it. The unit has a pre-defined Audio setup and a special button in the AUDIO tab of Config to provide that. Alternative Audio setups can be applied in the same window.

Pioneer DJ have improved the already club standard features of the previous DJM900. The DJM-900NXS2 has 4 phono stages, 24 bit 96khz sound card and 2 USB ports for dual laptop use. It’s also got adjustable fader curves and an FX section evolved brilliantly from its predecessor. There is a further USB send/return to connect an iPad so you can can patch effect apps (such as RMX1000 for iOS) for full emulation of that unit. The DJM-900NXS2 works harmoniously with the CDJ2000NSX2 to make it the ultimate setup for those using Rekordbox. You can also use it in conjunction with Serato DJ Pro, Traktor, and ShowKontrol. The Quattro will now be setup and ready to use with Ableton Live.
