About this deal

I always look at the "properties" (Windows) of the device to make sure it does not require formatting before disconnecting (see #4 above); otherwise, I may have only about 40% of the card space available. The HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilisation has three modes. It can be adjusted for the activity you’re doing, which means the footage you get is clear, and the wide-angle lens captures more of your ride, too. Plus TimeWarp 2.0 produces great time-lapse videos. Works well in the night. I know people have reviewed this camera saying that it's poor in the night. It's far from a great picture. But compared to other camera in this price range it still does a good job, even if the picture has softer edges etc, that's to be expected as the exposure goes up. I can still get license plates from the footage at night which is more than can be said for the expensive Drift HD camera! (which is poor at night despite night mode and with the wide lens makes plates hard to read unless really close up).

Excellent focus, exposure and color controls - readily adjust to most light conditions (1 lux min). I can use mine 15-20 minutes before sunrise or shortly after sunset and get very good videos. Its automatic adjustment to bright light and low light is superior to any camera-phone or web-cam I have used. Its low weight has allowed me to attach it using Velcro to my car mirror so I can record my journeys. I bought this item on 2nd Sep 2009. I've used this on and off for the last 29 months mainly for recording clips on my commuter bike. I've eventually attached this to the front of my helmet. You can find decent examples of the video this device records on You Tube. A lot of people have covered the spec and quality of this camera already so I won't elaborate on that too much. The camera is very small (2.16 in X1.1 in X .8") and light (1.76 oz). I use mine on bike helmet without knowing it's there.

Another noteworthy feature of the Veho Muvi K2 NPNG is its long battery life, which ensures continuous recording for extended periods. The camera also has a built-in LCD screen, which allows users to easily frame their shots and review their footage. As you’re looking through the features of each camera, there are a few that you can’t really go without… Size and weight for exercising our rights, such as publishing content that you submit in accordance with our terms of use; and/orRecorded video to jerky, the probable cause is the SD card is not able to record rapidly enough and the higher quality one is required. This isn’t a camera — but it goes very well with one. This new tabard from Rider Eye was released after the maximum speed to pass horses was changed to 10mph in the Highway Code. I've bought it for when out driving my mobility scooter. For my protection the way any other driver has a dash cam. No blending between frames. It's really easy to catch reg plates with this. Even though the quality is far worse than the HS Drift HD170 I have on the front, it's miles better at getting plates. We share your information in very limited circumstances. A remote control to wear on your wrist enables you to take photos and record video in any situation. This camera comes with a waterproof case and is compatible with IOS and Android, so you can control the camera via your smartphone. Image quality isn't quite up there with the best that GoPro has to offer but a simple bit of experimentation can lead to some very professional-looking results.

So far battery life seems okay but I haven't had it long enough to know if it begins to drop off with use.

I should note that the time it takes to charge (2 hours) means that any upload time less than that for a full card is really not an issue unless I am anxious to view the video. One final consideration is the battery life. You don’t want it to run out and stop recording your ride. The method of control makes it very simple to view on or transfer video to your computer, hence I have not the slightest difficulty in awarding it five stars. While a waterproof camera isn’t essential — unless you’re planning on going swimming with your horse — opting for a camera that’s waterproof or comes with a waterproof case is a good idea. This means you can use it in all weathers and don’t have to worry about mud or water damaging it. MountI use it five days a week for the past two and a half weeks. I am impressed, so will start with the negatives but lead to the benefits. To capture more of your ride, this camera has a 170° wide-angle lens. You can also record time-lapse videos and burst photos, giving you lots of choice and fun.
