About this deal

The Sweaty Betty Stamina Workout Bra looks and feels great on the move. We’ve tried it for hikes, spin classes, and HIIT sessions that don’t involve too much jumping. The pull-over design is easy to get on and off (it has more give than the Nike bra mentioned above) and we loved the non-padded design. If you’re someone who doesn’t remove the padding from your sports bras though, you might miss the extra coverage. Since the bra is only available in cup sizes up to DD, and the straps aren’t adjustable, this may not work for those with larger breasts.

Anita’s High Impact Wire-Free Sports Bra was adjustable, lightweight, and breathable. It also supported our tester’s chest well, and we like that it comes in a wide range of sizes. But our tester found that it ran small, especially in the band, which caused her chest to spill out of the cups. In addition, the straps are adjustable via Velcro, so we were able to easily customize our fit without having to take the entire bra off. We also found that the clasps at the top of the bra work really well to ensure that the zipper doesn’t slip down. Our longline sports bras provide support with extra coverage, made from ribbed and smooth fabrics that feel comfortable against your torso. Find a variety of support levels, from high-compression models to light-support styles for those gentle practices. The bra comes in cup sizes A to F, so you can buy your normal bra size, rather than having to convert to a small, medium, or large.Similar to the brand’s Zero Gravity running leggings, the bra is buttery-soft against the skin. We tested this bra on long marathon training runs in all weathers, and didn't have any issues with chafing.

Adjustability in the shoulder straps and bottom band will allow you to customize the best fit for you. You'll be able to play around with the bra's sizing to make it tighter, looser, or more spacious based on how you feel. Most sports bras provide support through compression. However, if you have larger breasts, Goldstein says you need full encasement of each breast to control movement from all angles. Bras that include built-in padding or removable cups not only create a smooth and rounded shape (which helps avoid a “uni-boob”), but they also provide additional coverage. For lower-impact activities including yoga, pilates and hiking, you don’t need quite as much support from your sports bra. You should look for a style that fits comfortably, feels nice against your skin and doesn’t cut in when you’re lying on a mat or wearing it for extended periods of time. How to find the right size Not all sports bras are created equal. For high-impact workouts such as running and circuit training, you’ll need a supportive style that keeps bouncing to a minimum — stopping your coopers ligaments (the tissue that supports your breasts) from stretching. A sports bra should fit tighter than a regular bra, with no gaps or extra room, but should not feel constrictive. Most of the support comes from the band, which should be wide enough to avoid uncomfortable compression. How do I measure myself for a sports bra?
