About this deal

A kid’s poetic novel is a great way to keep your kid entertained in the rhyming words and the story they hold. The author Tamera Will Wissinger and illustrator Mathew Cordell presents a beautiful poetic story about a 9-year-old boy who loved to go fishing with his father. But like all boys who enjoy a good father-son bond, he also does not want to share his adventure with his naughty sibling – his sister Lucy.

However, although this book is a great starting point, some reviewers feel that it is not detailed enough to be a fully comprehensive guide. Pros and Cons of Encyclopedia of Aquarium and Pond Fish by David Alderton Pros Fishing in the Air” by Sharon Creech – This poetic story follows a father and son on a fishing trip and explores the beauty of nature and family bonding. 2. “Fishing with Grandma” Gone Fishin’ is an “I can Read 1” level book, which means it has simple sentences which would make it a good one for beginning readers ( source). It also has the usual fun illustrations you’ve come to expect from the series, so even my toddler enjoys it. This cute book is not only for fish-lovers but for all kinds of new learners who are learning to sound out words and make sentences. The book is about the papa bear and his children as they all go fishing. Papa got a shiny new fishing gear that he wants to catch his fish with, but brother, sister, and Honey have their own ways to try fishing. The kids go for bamboo poles and bent pins. Can their simple tools be able to catch some fish? You (and your kid) can only know once he/ she reads the book.Down to the Sea with Mr. Magee” by Chris Van Dursen – Mr. Magee books are favorite books for young children. With fun verse and silly illustrations, this book is a great read aloud book sure to provide plenty of giggles. 7. “Gone Fishing” Book-Based Activities are also a lot of fun for kids. Jodie over at Growing Book by Book has saved us all a ton of time and created a full year of Book-Based Activity Calendars so that you can extend the fun with a special book each week. Grandma knows everything, and fishing is no exception! The book by Susan Avingaq and Maren Vsetula is about a grandma’s trip with her two grandchildren to the lake. The grandma prepares them for the fishing trip and teaches them all about jigging in the ice for fish – from what clothes the kids need to wear out in the cold when they go for ice fishing, to how to drill the holes in the ice and clear them for fishing. And like all grandmas around the world, this grandma also loves to feed her grandkids with yummy food – she prepares and feeds them with the delicious catch and equip them with all the skills they need for their next fishing adventure.

If you are looking for a book for your kids then we suggest Fish For Kids: A Junior Scientist’s Guide to Diverse Habitats, Colorful Species, and Life Underwater by Kevin Kurtz. First of all, you get a fun story about why your kids should apply themselves and do a job right. Secondly, you get to show your children that if you have a dream and are willing to work for it, you can make it come true, just as young James Miller did. What’s it Like to be a Fish?tells about where fish live.
