About this deal

Another Harris brother down, and I couldn't have enjoyed Booker and Poppy's story more. This friends to lovers story gives readers everything: romance, friendship, heat, and passion. There is no way readers won't enjoy the journey. Cassandra’s confidence. She’s fat, and she owns it! Yes, she has moments where she questions herself, but who doesn’t? I always love when we get a plus size heroine whose personality isn’t ruled by her weight.

He's a millionaire, she's his nanny. He's uptight, she's "fun." He's 34, she's 26. Blah blah blah trope city. If you are looking for a nanny/rich man romance, you can do better than this IMO. Listenting to this on audio, brings all the feels and more that I had whilst I read the book earlier in the year when it was released. Will does Booker perfectly and the secondary character accents in Irish (Nigel) and particularly the Scottish accent (Andrew) are fabulous as well. Man, the Scottish accent? I literally giggled loud and hard like a schoolgirl the first part of the book that it appeared in. It made me so happy! And Will is so good, that just like if I was talking to someone with the Scottish accent, I couldn’t clearly decipher it all. A Scottish person probably could, but little old me over here in Australia? Nup. Most of it yes, but not all of it.After a chance meetup at a bar and a heated cab ride together, things come to a head and now instead of hating each other, they’re horizontal in a bed. The attraction is strong right from the beginning. I loved that Cassandra recognized Max’s lust, with only a touch of doubt but no more than any other female character in romance where the girl always feels like she isn’t enough. She wasn’t always completely confident about her physique and size, but she wasn’t hiding herself either most of the time, and she didn’t need other people to validate her. The doubts she had about her value had nothing to do with her size–won’t say what they were though, it was an interesting revelation in the book. Amy does a great job of writing a very tension-filled friendship between these two. Poppy refuses to let her walls down again and get hurt. Booker refuses to lose his friend again because he can't control his raging hormones as if he's a teen again. But the more they fight it, the more they realize they're just pushing each other away. We always take for granted the ones we love the most.

If you have yet to meet the Harris brothers, you are missing out on truly wonderful books. Amy Daws weaves romance, sports, and amazing family dynamics to create stories that are both funny and romantic. Angst. Humor. Romance. Desire. It's all part of her magic. Soon enough you can see that it's not just about sex. He wants to know more about her, and she's curious about him too. Of course, Max’s daughter Everly must also be mentioned. Wise beyond her years, she definitely has a future in the matchmaking business. Cassandra is a plus size heroine, and while I loved that she had insecurities, I was really hoping she would be fully confident in her body as she was in her convictions. I always feel like this is a double edged sword, because many plus size people are not 100% confident in how they look. It makes the heroine relatable. Curvy, wild, and free spirited nanny meets strict, punctual, and determined CEO single father. I loved the story line in this one and there was never a dull moment!! I loved watching the characters grow with and because of one another. She saw someone sitting there and thought it perfect to profess her love for him by their tree! Booker was not alone, but was sitting on a blanket with a girl. One problem: Max’s girl thinks this plus-size babysitter could be her new best friend in body and mind, so she hires her right away.

I was waiting patiently for this book to come out, I thought Daws would stay in the Harris world forever and never finish this series, which is part of the reason why I was disappointed with this book. Don’t get me wrong, this was, in essence, a cute story. It was a grumpy/sunshine, age gap, single dad trope, which is one of my personal favourites. I loooove Erin Mallon. She’s got such a nice voice and her male voice is pretty hot. Teddy Hamilton has a very sexy voice too, but I felt like he just sounded angry for 85% of the book. Even when the characters weren’t supposed to. He also did a great job of delivering some of the cheesier dialogue in a way that still sounded hot, so kudos.I loved Will Watt and Lottie Cole as narrators for Endurance, but for Keeper? Wow! These guys were born to narrate these two characters. First I want to say THANK YOU for not making me wait for an audiobook and releasing it the same day as the other editions, Second THANK YOU for casting Erin Mallon as Cozy and Teddy Hamilton as Max and last THANK YOU for giving us a Single Dad & a Plus Size Women!! These are only some of the reasons why I loved this book.
