Apply hot glue to the large outer curve of a foam ear. Now attach one of the batting strips to the outer edge of the foam. Repeat for the other foam ear. Field mice do not hibernate; they stay active throughout the winter but will find a cosy spot indoors and journey outside for food – if food inside is in short supply.

Place hot glue along the bottom edge of an ear and attach it to the headband. Repeat for the other ear, leaving about 1″ between the ears for the best look. Hold the glued ear against the headband until the glue sets for the most even placement. These were released in 2023 as part of the Flower & Garden Festival and feature Orange Bird, an orange bow, and other fun, floral details. Get the Orange Bird ears here! Although it may be hard to distinguish one mouse from another, the house mouse and the field mouse do have some differences that can help you tell them apart. Here are tips for identification of house mouse vs a field mouse: Much smaller than wood mouse. Golden-brown on top with pale grey/white underside, whilst wood mouse has a red/brown coat on top with a contrasting pale (often white) underside. Small eyes and subtle ears (often covered by fur) whilst wood mouse has large eyes and ears. Your typical mouse in the UK has large eyes and ears, a pointed snout and a long tail. In the UK you can find six different types of mouse. Five of them are native and the sixth, the dormouse, was brought to Hertfordshire in 1902 and is rare to see in the wild. Most of the mice in the UK have a lifespan of a year, but in protected environments they can live up to three years, and for the rare dormouse, their life expectancy can be that of 5 years. Mice are rodents and they fall into this classification because their incisors constantly grow throughout their lifetime. VolesGroot is on one ear while vines take over the other — in the middle is a leaf tied into a bow. Buy the Groot Ear Headband here! Many guests love wearing ears in the parks, but not everyone can make it to the parks to buy (or wear!) them. Did you know you don’t have to visit the parks to buy ears? You can spot voles by their small eyes and ears, short tails and rounded snouts. There are four species of vole in the UK, with three found in mainland Britain: the bank vole, field vole, water vole and the Orkney vole – found on the Orkney Islands – hence their name. The average lifespan of a vole is between 3 months and 1 year, generally the larger the vole, the longer it’ll live. For example, the water vole can live up to 18 months. Voles also fall into the rodent classification because they too have incisors that continuously grow. Shrews One ear has the Disney castle, while the other has fireworks. They’re tied together with a large orange bow in the middle! Grab the Disney Parks 2023 Ears here!
