About this deal

As for the ending? You wonder about the twists in these type of stories right? What I liked about it is not only 'who' -- but 'why'. So --even if you think you 'might' know the ending - and do not be so sure ( really: don't)...there's an element added which I found interesting 'with' the ending as much as whodunit. OMG! Towards the end of this book I felt as if I was standing on the edge of a precipice, my stomach chasing butterflies, and my heart beating fit to burst - but forgive me, I'm getting ahead of myself, because there's much more to come before then. Bradford, C. (2003). “Oh how different!”: Regimes of knowledge in Aboriginal texts for children. The Lion and the Unicorn, 27(2), 199–217.

But I See/You Mean has been virtually unavailable for decades. In 2013, I happened upon a copy in Printed Matter, the artists’ bookstore then on 10th Avenue that Lippard herself founded in 1976 in Tribeca, before it moved to Chelsea. I have not seen another copy since, nor have I knowingly encountered another reader of the book. Few libraries list it among their holdings, and sometimes I have wondered if the book in my possession actually exists. Nodelman, P., & Reimer, M. (2003). The pleasures of children’s literature (3rd ed.). Boston: Allyn and Bacon. Other women begin appearing in the same ad, a different one every day, and Zoe realizes they’ve become the victims of increasingly violent crimes—including murder. With the help of a determined cop, she uncovers the ad’s twisted purpose...A discovery that turns her paranoia into full-blown panic. Zoe is sure that someone close to her has set her up as the next target. Grater, Tom (May 14, 2018). "First look: Helen Hunt horror 'I See You' completes cast, shoot underway (exclusive)". Screen Daily . Retrieved March 9, 2019.I should have rescheduled this crap. I'm in no state, I thought. Damn Dr. Lee and her extreme thoroughness. On top of that, Zoe has personal concerns. Zoe's son Justin, a computer nerd who works in a coffee shop - tends to sponge off his mother;

Everything might still be okay, I reminded myself. There's been no bad news. But there was a "yet" that followed the thought, and I knew that I should brace myself for impact. Hateley, E. (2017). The guys are the prize: Adolescent fiction, masculinity, and the political unconscious of Australian Book Awards. In K. Kidd & J. Thomas (Eds.), Prizing children’s literature: The cultural politics of children’s book awards (pp. 45–57). London: Routledge. MCEETYA (Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs). (2008). Melbourne declaration on educational goals for young Australians. I wondered if that matter-of-fact delivery ever worked for her, if people ever just said, "Cool, whatever." I raised my hand in front of me in a "halt" gesture.Kelly takes an interest in the classified ads after Zoe alerts her to a possible connection to the case she's been working on. Finding a connection between the classified ads and other crimes could help her redeem herself. Four years ago, she was demoted from the Sexual Offenses Team to the Neighborhood Policing Team. I loved Kelly's passion for her profession and her protectiveness of her twin sister. She has a victim-focused approach to police work, but she also has issues getting too close to her cases. I was rooting for her! I wish Zoe and Kelly interacted more, because I would have liked to spend more time with her. It's just so strange, because everyone in our family has great eyes—none of us wear glasses—although you know what? I told her that if she kept on reading in the dark it would ruin her eyes. This one, with the books! I mean, don't get me wrong, reading is good, of course, but you can take a good thing too far, for God's sake! I hate to say it, I really do, but I was right. I mean, was I right, Eleanor?" Your prescription seems pretty good," she mused, looking through my file. "And everyone's eyes adjust to the dark differently, so I'm really not concerned. But since you're here, let's just dilate your pupils and take a look."
