Can you make some recipes for new, healthy meals for them to enjoy?Este libro, indudablemente es de gran calidad, ya sea por sus ilustraciones o su contenido. Pero cabe destacar, que es un libro que en mi opinión esta dirigido a los primeros lectores más consolidados (con previo manejo en la lectura), pues es un poco más extenso y presenta frases más complejas (cláusulas) para niños que recién están aprendiendo a leer, pero aun así es muy claro en su narración, pues fácilmente se puede identificar cuando cada personaje habla (diálogos muy bien estructurados). A simple story with gorgeous illustrations by Benji Davies. Each one of us will have memories of our grandparents and how our summer holidays were wonderful. This story will always remind me of my grandma and those memories will forever be etched in my heart, just like Noi. Make a list of the words that are used to describe how Noi moves around (e.g. crept, hopped, pattered, weaved). The illustrations are gorgeous and fit perfectly with this charming and warm-hearted read that any child who enjoys spending time with Grandma will dearly love.

A reminder of the true art of storytelling': Celebrating Henrietta Branford's powerful novel Fire, Bed & Bone Granny Bird makes a substantial appearance in the 1989 Little Golden Book I Can't Wait Until Christmas. In illustrated form, Granny Bird loses her gray feathers and consequently looks even more like Big Bird, although she does sport a pair of pince-nez eyeglasses. It is magical, so beautifully observed and tenderly told, though not without heartbreak. Granpa is such a wonderful way to remember the genius, John Burningham. The child's innocent amazement at ALL the lines on her Nana's face is so honestly reported and the Nana's beautiful explanation that each line holds a memory is just charming. I love this idea as it's all too easy to see an old person and just see, well, an old person - when of course they have lived rich and full lives, doing silly, sad, serious and wondrous things. One of my all-time favourite nanas from the wonderful world of children's books is the hilarious and scandalous Grandma Swag from Janet and Allen Ahlberg's Cops and Robbers (Ho! Ho!)Write some letters from Noi to his grandma before and after his summer visit. Could you write Grandma’s responses? The Nothing to See Here Hotel is nothing short of hilarious, with both Stevens bringing the LOLS, big time. And while not the focal character, Granny Regurgita pretty much stole the show for me.
