About this deal

Diagnosing first when there is a failure in the vehicle which allows that the faulty part only is replaced. Then press disconnect, and select appropriate ECU from menu. There is no problem if you do wrong selection, but all other functions will work only if you select right ECU. These will show you how to use the software. It is recommended that you have a moderate level of computer proficiency to use this tool. Remote support is limited. If the car was manufactured before 1995 then as part of the accessories is a 2 x 2 adapter to connect to the OBD-II which is being used with the current diagnostic tools. Currently it just runs from the command line but that might be just fine for now. It requires a dumb KKL cable, basically something with an OBD connector on one end and that looks like a serial port to the PC. I've successfully used a KKL cable I bought 7 years ago that connects to an actual serial port on my really old laptop. I've also used a genuine VCDS cable configured to run in VCP (Virtual COM Port mode). I've only run it on an old Dell laptop that runs 32-bit Windows 10. It should work fine on 64-bit Windows 10 but I haven't actually tried that yet. It's written in C# for .NET Core, which is cross-platform, so it might also run on Macs and Linux but I haven't tried either. You're welcome to give it a shot and let me know.

If everything is OK after 5 seconds you will see kombi info on display and program will try to log in to the ECU. ONLY via OBD! Without disassembly of instrument panel. Supports NEC MCU with 256 kB, 512 kB and 1MB flash memory. The VCDS diagnostic system uses a more detailed manufacturer protocol commands and allows the user to access all the diagnostics that have been installed in the vehicle provided it is a Volkswagen or Audi. Uses of Ross-Tech VAGCOM / VCDS There should be a single .exe in the .zip and it should run on 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10. Put the .exe in some folder and then open up a command prompt in that folder.Hence it’s a diagnostic software that will diagnose vehicles with VAG engines, meaning it covers nearly all Audi, Volkswagen Seat and Skoda models. It also works on non-VAG vehicles, but is limited to generic OBD2 system of Engine and Transmission. Press the start and the auto scan will start. This process can take a while but after it is completed the lines that are printed in Red are where there are faults.

An OBD-II right angle extension cable if you would like to ensure that the diagnostic tool is connected away from the driver’s feet and legs. I forgot to mention that the UN4(UKNSI) one was on the CAR by Audi, so I bought the car with it, but I put the VDO in it cause now I have a Voltmeter and Oil Temp., but I am missing the DAMN login for the UN4 Speedometer, and I don't have even the plastic piece from the service key cause on it I would had have the LOGIN code. That's all I need the login for the damn UN4 dash. How do I read the EEPROM, or the login from it ? WHAT DO I NEED ? NP I'll buy itFull Support for brasillian VDO dashboards of VW Fox, SAVEIRO, POINTER, ect . from year 2011 + with NEC D70F3422 mcu and 24C32 eeprom. Communication via K-Line - KWP2000 protocol. I've also always wanted to use VDS-PRO to enable the "Roll windows up/down with key fob" CCM feature and other options, but it only runs on DOS and hasn't been maintained in many years. I've had lots of trouble getting it to run at all on newer computers. do not use software wuiz new driver created ok use after yuo write dump and instal original driver from vag tacho
