Chewits’ extremely fruity flavours and chewy chews is what makes them stand out against other chews on the market. And during their whole existence, they have been a perennial favourite of both children and adults. When Chewits first appeared, there was originally only one flavour: orange. Soon after, this one flavour expanded to another 3 flavours. One of which is now perhaps the most iconic of all the Chewits Chews – Strawberry. In fact, Chewits has a few of their own chewy treats to get nostalgic over. So as we reminisce over what was, we’re bringing you with us. Later, Opal Fruits brought out their own brand of chewits with exciting new flavours [9] and demand expressed on Facebook [10] and Bebo. Cola then extended the range of flavours even more, Chewits introduced a Sour range and now, there’s a whole variety of flavours. And not just for the Chews, but also for the Juicy Bites, and the Xtreme Range. And, because we want to spread the love and get the entire nation eating Chewits, we made them vegan as well! Now more people that ever can enjoy Chewits as not only do they not contain meat products, but Chewits Bites, Laces, Twists and Wands don’t contain any animal by-products either! Some religions have dietary rules. The halal diet is followed by people that practice Islam and it has a few things that they cannot eat or drink. People who can’t consume gluten can enjoy our Chewits Chews and Juicy Bites range. But Chewits Twists, Wands and Laces all contain wheat and are not suitable for gluten-intolerance.
