About this deal

Press the Accelerator to control the drone to fly towards the circle seen on the goggles interface. In the video below, [Paweł] takes the motion controller for a test flight and comes away largely satisfied with the results. Some tweaks are in the works as you might expect for a first attempt, but nothing that would prevent you from building your own version today and experiencing what might be the next evolution of RC flying.

Flight and direction:As for flight, simply move your hand left or right and watch the drone mimic your movement. A simple tilt forward makes the drone fly ahead. TIP: Before linking the aircraft with the Motion Controller, make sure you have linked the aircraft with the goggles. Auto take-off and land: Getting the drone up in the air or getting it to land safely might seem easy, until you try it and then reality hits. Too much or too little power and it can end in disaster. With the Motion Drone it’s a breeze. Simply press the button on the side of the remote and up it goes. Press it again and watch it land without a hitch.

TIP: Before updating the firmware, make sure the battery level for both the aircraft and remote controller is above 50%, and a stable internet connection is available. Altitude hold: The Motion Drone has a nifty feature where it automatically holds its height for you. That means you can focus on flying it where you want it to go without the worry of going too high and out of range, or too low and hitting the floor! Controlling this UFO drone is super-easy, even if flying drones is alien to you. It uses a controller that senses your hand motions, letting them control the drone. And, so that it stays stable in the sky, it has 6-axis gyro control and ‘headless mode’, which means that any side of the drone can work as the nose, relative to where you are standing (so forward on the remote is always forward for the drone).

Basically, the Motion Control UFO is a drone (or quadcopter, if you’re cool) that is shaped like a flying saucer. Reports indicate (correctly) that it also has flashing LED lights, bringing some extra-terrestrial awesomeness to your night flying. With this easy-to-use drone, the remote control has been removed. Instead, you use a handy mouse-style gadget which attaches to two of your fingers, allowing full control and ease of use! Headless mode: Headless mode is a great feature, particularly for new pilots, which makes flying even easier. Now you don’t need to worry about which way the drone is facing and trying to figure out the correct command to give it. Simply put, if you want the drone to go to the left, tilt your hand left and that’s the way it will go, regardless of which way the drone is actually facing.Plus, headless mode gives you the opportunity to perform amazing 360° flips with ease. Simply push up the trigger on the side and watch in awe as the drone works its magic. The Motion Control Drone is so incredibly easy to use, that we actually struggled to crash it! So if you are all about the newest technology, then this innovative flyer is a perfect gift from you to you. Or to someone else if you’re feeling especially kind. The USB-C port at the bottom of the Motion Controller can be used to charge the device and connect to a computer for firmware updates. Wise man once say, "to fly a drone, you must hover before you can fly." It's probably going to take you a few attempts just to get the drone off the ground, but these next tips should help. If your command has worked, the drone lights should no longer flash and you should have heard a satisfying beep! You've just synced! Press and hold the power button of the aircraft until the battery level indicators blink in sequence.

Blades not spinning? You might not believe this, but one of the most common reasons for a rotor not spinning is trapped hair! If you have a family pet (or just a particularly hairy family member!) you might find that over time hair can become trapped around the motor, which prevents it from spinning. Most blades pop off very easily so it's a super easy problem to fix. Some drones come with little u-wrenches to help pop them off. In this blog, we will teach you how to use the DJI Motion Controller and enjoy a unique flight experience. If you have just replaced your blades, be careful you haven't put your brand spanking new ones on too firmly, as this can stop the motors spinning freely (or even at all). Try raising them slightly up their spindes as this could give more room to rotate. If your drone battery charges via USB then make sure you are using the cable and charger provided. We can't stress enough how important this is! Also, rechargeable batteries work best if they are charged regularly. If you have left your drone for quite a while without use then a) why would you do that? and b) it might mean that it loses its ability to charge fully. The solution is a good one though: play with your drone as much as possible!

[2]HD video transmission at up to 120fps gives you an ultra-smooth, real-time view of your flight. Menkind Super Tip No. 4: The drone doesn't have to be up in the air flying to adjust the trim. As long as the controller is still connected to the drone (synced) then you can adjust the trim settings. This is really handy to know if the drone needs a lot of trimming. Simply land the drone, make your adjustments, then take off again to see if it's more stable. Rinse and repeat until you are happy you have the control. FCC-compliant. Measurements were taken in unobstructed environments free of interference. Always follow local rules and regulations and fly your drone within your visual line of sight unless otherwise permitted. The Motion Controller stops beeping when linking is successful and both the battery level indicators turn solid and display the battery level. By working with a variety of trusted Range Plus Partners, we’re able to offer our customers a wider selection of products.
