To ensure the safety and integrity of your cards’ condition, it’s recommended you submit your cards in the following way: You have vintage Pokemon cards in near mint or better condition – even more so if Holographic, 1st Edition, Error Cards, or rare Promos. I've only ever had my cards graded with the Certified Guaranty Company (CGC) and Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), but I do have some opinions from personal experience.

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time and money grading cards with as many of the “new UK grading companies” as I could.This section also contains Graded Pokemon cards from other Grading companies since PSA are very difficult to get anything out of at the moment. Featured in this section at the moment you will also find slabs from PokeGrade. Obviously if a product says PokeGrade in the title, its a PokeGrade card and will not reference PSA.

Ultimately, it comes down to you as a collector. If you like the idea of simply having your cards graded, protected and scored, then absolutely go for it and try these new companies. They don't look noticeably thinner, but they feel thinner. In case you couldn't determine in the above image, the slab on the left was PSA and the slab on the right was CGC. Like I said, the thinness isn't a huge deal, but it is something noticeable to the touch.
