The Dell S3220DGF is the brand’s mid-level model released in 2020. Thanks to its low input lag and high refresh rate, it promises to deliver a fast gaming experience compared to other mid-level models. I did the exchange and found that the monitor I received was the EXACT SAME with the same outdated EDID, manufactured May 2020 A03. That will give you a decent base to work from, though you may want to tweak it for your own eyes, Reply Cheers, and I fully agree with your point. I went from TN to IPS, which was a big change and I also had concerns about VA, more so for the viewing angles.Dell’s display looks subtle, so it’s ideal if you want a screen that will suit a more professional environment – or if you just don’t like the gregarious design of modern gaming hardware. The 32in diagonal and gentle curve make the Dell an absorbing option – great if you want to really get lost in your games. The Dell’s logos use a blue, metallic shade, but that’s it for ornamentation. Subtle gunmetal plastic is used throughout, the stand is a sleek pillar of metal, and the base is smart, flat, and ideal for peripheral storage. The bezels are slim, and the build quality is consistently impressive. Dell’s display also has height, pivot, and tilt adjustment, but no portrait mode option which, again, is entirely normal for a curved monitor. Yeah I get that. Same goes for just about all higher hz monitors. It’s just when people say, “super fast is better”. Why is it better? You have to be noticing something for that response to be, “better”. Seems I’ll just have to be patient and see for myself. Thanks though. Reply why are the manufacturers still putting speakers or headphone outputs on screens? screen is screen.. soundcard is soundcard... speakers are speakers...Of course, if you do like displays with wild design and plenty of lighting, the Dell doesn’t fit the bill. Alienware will be more your style. What’s the news on the monitor? Are your eyes seeing any blur on text? I don’t but that could just be my aging eyes, Reply
