About this deal

You can connect two HDMI 2.1 inputs to one HDMI 2.1 output. Like the BolAAzul switch before this, this switch from JupptElectronics also is a uni-directional switch. Further, it does not support auto-switching, and it does not come with a remote either. Instead, you have to use the button on the device to switch between the inputs. The Garmay 8K HDMI 2.1 switch supports two inputs and allows you to connect it to one output. Additionally, the device also offers you bi-directional support. This will enable you to connect the one input to two display units, albeit not simultaneously. Thus, you get a 2-in-1 device that offers you the benefits of a switch and a splitter.

An HDMI Splitter is meant to connect ONE DEVICE to two or more TVs (or other screens / video projectors).

However, in the manual switching feature, you have to change the input either by push button or IR remote controller. Some devices, such as Kinivo 501BN and Univivi 4K HDMI Switch, offer both automatic and manual switching features for greater comfort and ease of use. HDCP Compliance

This device supports the standard format of two inputs that connects to one output. There is no bi-directional support. Also, you do not get an auto-switching option to automatically select the activated input. The notable feature of this IOGEAR switch is that it comes with 8-ports, which means this device can handle three more devices than Kinivo 501BN. The PSVR doesn’t do 120hz at any resolution afaik. If it also passed up to 1440@120 that’d be great. If you have two Source devices and a single Input on your Display you require an HDMI Switch not an HDMI Distribution Amp (splitter) - the HDMI Switch will need to be compatible with the formats your Source and TV support.

Yes! The HDMI input switching of Koopman is pretty fast and automatic; however, the downside is that it has limited support for devices that do not fully power down (especially Apple TV). Sadly this issue is common in most auto-switch implementations. As it is equipped with one HDMI input and 4 HDMI output ports, you will be able to switch between 4 devices. The infrared remote control is really helpful to switch between multiple sources like computers and gaming consoles while lying on the bed. So a switcher lets you switch between different HDMI signals, while a splitter lets you split one HDMI signal out to several screens. An HDMI switcher allows you to switch between multiple HDMI inputs into a single output, connected to your TV or monitor. These can come in various different shapes and sizes, and can often also be called HDMI splitters, too.The Llano switch is a bi-directional switch and can also be used as a splitter. It takes two inputs and connects them to one display output in the switch mode. There are several switches available in the market. Most devices come with a 5V DC power inlet. However, some switches do not require additional power. If you plan to connect both input sources perpetually, such devices draw their power from the connected HDMI ports. Do HDMI 2.1 Switches work with PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X? Sadly the switch requires external power. Unlike other HDMI Switches, it will not work without external power, so you have to attach an extra power port for it. Secondly, the cord on the power supply measures 3 Ft which is very short and should be above 5ft. Testing Results: The kinivo doesn’t work with my PS5 and I’ve tried everything. Works with my Series X, but I continue to get no signal with the ps5. I’ve ensured all cables are working, but it’s a no go with the ps5. Buyer beware! And yeah, I’m with Jordan. Very disappointing that no one is supporting HDMI 2.1 yet. That stops me cold from buying one at all.
