I’m a left handed golfer. When I wear the watch on my right hand, it does not register any swing. When I wear it on my left hand, it register one out of 10 swings. Any idea if there’s any sensitive setting for swings?I prefer the interface of the T8, I find it a bit more intuitive. Also, the auto shot measurement feature is a true game changer for me. This looks pretty nice! After a round, does it give you the ability to see the location on a map where each shot was made, like Arccos does?

At the end of the day, heat maps are nice but I think there are too many variations on the green and you still need to read the greens. BUT knowing & confirming the high points does help. Somewhat. I wasn't even thinking about screen protection until Day 1 when I was in the restroom I took off the watch to dry my wrist after a hand wash and nearly dropped it. Phew, that would have been a bummer There is a lot to like about the G5, with it's bigger face and ease of navigation appealing to a wide range of golfers. It also has plenty of useful features for off course activities and the versatile look will also stands it up in good stead. The only downside is that the graphics are a tad basic but, aside from that, there is a lot of value to be had.This has always been my dream golf watch, more so than Garmin, but could never justify the price. Great review! I’m left handed also. It doesn’t appear to work for left handed golfers. I returned the original watch and got a replacement and both act exactly the same. They work perfectly if you wear it on your left hand and take a right handed swing. Doesn’t work at all with a left handed swing for tempo. The good news is that the charger works very well. The watch magnetizes into place with a satisfying snap, and doesn’t feel cheap. Screenwise, the graphics are basic but the layout is clear enough and, handily, there is a combination of the color touch screen and four corner buttons. You can use either, depending on your preference - for example, the right hand buttons double as up and down functions on certain menus, but you can swipe the screen up or down to achieve the same thing.
