Christmas in the Little Irish Village: A Christmas romance to

Shannon Kelly just went through an unexpected break up with her boyfriend. It wasn’t the outcome she was expecting, so she is wondering if she will ever find true happiness. Christmas is going to arrive whether she is ready for it or not. The twinkle lights, the hot chocolate and the joy of the season isn’t exactly what she wants right now. Shannon’s huge Irish family is there for her and they are ready to turn her broken heart around. Shannon slips on the ice and James Cabot is there to catch her, she can’t help but wonder if he is “the one”. Shannon shows James around Emerald Bay and the more time they spend together, the more Shannon realizes that maybe this Christmas won’t be so bad after all. I laughed and cried in equal measure… Thought-provoking and full of great characters, I’ll read more from this author. Highly recommend!’ Goodreads reviewer, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Welcome to the little Irish village of Emerald Bay where the sun is shining, the locals are gossiping, and romance is in the air. But will returning home be the fresh start Imogen Kelly needs? I did use the spoiler tag, but for some reason it still shows at the moment, so I put it yet a bit farther down I found myself reading with an Irish accent for all of the dialogue and had to laugh at the irony of Shannon making fun of James’s Boston accent. I loved most of the characters - even the crabby ones (let’s face it, all communities have them). AND Napoleon with his cattitude! I just love him!!!

Even the comforting distractions of her big Irish family can’t cheer her up. Then things get even worse when Shannon slips over on the ice and finds herself red-faced in the arms of a gorgeous American man…

If this doesn’t speak romcom perfection I don’t know what does! … I was so delighted with the warm fuzzy feeling this book left me with… Gorgeous! ’ NetGalley reviewer, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Imogen’s heart is full of hope at the thought of seeing her childhood sweetheart but on the way there she nearly has an accident on the winding, muddy country road. She arrives at Benmore House late and flustered, only to discover the builder working with her on the renovation project is none other than Ryan O’Malley – the class prankster who was forever pinging her bra strap at school. But when Shannon discovers James is in Ireland because he’s claiming to be the long-lost grandson of her elderly neighbour, Maeve Doolin, she is immediately suspicious. Shannon has known kind Maeve since she was a little girl and feels protective of her, so she’s determined to find out the truth. Even if it means spending more time with James… Thank you to Bookouture, NetGalley & Michelle Vernal for the Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book for my honest review.
