The Makita DLM382CT2 Cordless Lawnmower comes complete with 2 x BL1850B Batteries + DC18SH Twin Charger. Cut approx 150m2 of lawn that was fairly long and damp and it did it with ease, and only used about 1/4 of the batteries. The Makita Li-ion range delivers 430% more working capacity during its lifetime compared to Ni-Cad and is 40% Lighter than Ni-MH batteries. Ive used this a couple of times and its much better than expected, its quite, fast, and thank god no cables dragging a crossed boarders etc. With the BL1850B battery being Lithium-ion it has no memory effect and is much lighter than other battery chemistries. It’s a smallish lawn but the grass was a bit wet and a little long so I set the blade at a moderate height (40) and took it gently.

Designed with a 40 litre grass box meaning you can collect clippings for longer without the need to stop and empty the box whilst the grass level indicator which lets you know when the bag is full and needs emptying.
