I was worried that I wouldn’t understand what was going on when she would, inevitably, talk about characters from previous books but it wasn’t too bad. Along with the domme sub dynamics of Maggie and Beau and reading A Hot Spoiled Guy Crawling Inside His Lover and other D/s sessions, hot! Both characters are living their lives trying to please their parents’ ideals instead of owning what makes them truly happy and embracing their real personalities!
